(Might Revamp) Living with a Killer Robot ~ Dagger x Mettaton

Intro

So here I am, I'm in my room writing in my notebook while a robot who tried to kill my 8-year old friend is in the room next to me. But am I worried? No. Because I deal with things that would scare even him. I am worried about leaving him here alone, especially if he's asleep. I'm not sure if I'll win this time, but I cant really tell him either, or maybe I can. I'll wait, I just met him. I'll check if he's asleep or not, I left him to listen to music, he hasn't been on the surface in years so he was content for a while. I should get going, after that one guy escaped, people have been wary of cats. I'm starting to hope that he is asleep.

Dagger signed his name and closed the book. He opened his door and sighed, he wondered why he agreed to let him stay here. Mettaton was persistent though, and Alphys' couldn't deal with him anymore. Dagger opened the door to Metta's room to see him sleeping, still with his headphones on and Ipod in hand. He took the headphones off of him to find they were still playing music, he chuckled and put the devices on the dresser next to him. Dagger walked out of the room and closed the door, happy that he was still sleeping.

He walked down stairs to the door and put his jacket on. He decided since monsters were around, he didn't need his hat. Dagger took off the baseball cap and let his cat ears spring up, and let his tail stretch out.

"What are you doing?" Dagger jumped in surprise and turned around to see Silver.

"What does it look like? I'm going out," The cat stared at him.

"What about your ears and tail?" Dagger looked at the silver cat in annoyance.

"Monsters are here now so I don't think I have to worry. And Mettaton's asleep," Dagger went outside and was comforted by the cold. He looked up to see a full moon, a wave of reassurance went over him. He started walking down the street as the silver cat followed. Dagger got annoyed at Silver's presence. "You don't have come with me every time you know."

The cat didn't respond as they kept walking. Dagger tried to ignore him and headed towards the town.

The town was almost empty with a few people scattered here and there, and it was perfect. Dagger hid in an ally and leaned against a wall. He took a few deep breaths and closed his eyes before his body turned white and took the form of a dark gray cat with blue tips on the ears and tail. He stretched and walked out of the ally with Silver tagging along.

After a while of walking around, Dagger found a person on a bench, looking at their phone. He ran behind the bench, he waited for a while. Feeling no aura, Dagger jumped on the back of the bench. The person heard him before the cat bit his neck, the man passed out as Dagger jumped off of the bench. Silver started walking as Dagger followed.

The night went on like that until something caught Dagger's eye. He turned into his other form and looked at it. A witch stone.

"Silver," The cat went back to the ally Dagger was in and looked at the gem. Dagger opened a portal with it and stepped in with Silver by his side.

It opened up to a narrow tunnel with eye-bleeding colours. At the end was a door that lead to a ditch. Inside that ditch was a creature that looked like a canine, but was disfigured and had even more colours, so much that it was hard to see it compared to its surroundings. Dagger and Silver looked at the witch, Dagger's eyes hurting from the colour. Silver went to the side as Dagger stepped back.

Dagger closed his eyes as his body went white, but instead of turning into a cat, he changed into another form. His skin turned gray as his jacket grew longer and his pockets disappeared. Dagger's eyes turned cat-like as his boots turned black and connected with his pants. His hair grew more spiky as he grew fangs. Dagger returned to his original colours as he ran and jumped on the witch's head.

As he made contact, he pushed its head down and jumped higher than a human. While in the air, Dagger pulled out two guns, as he shot, the bullets took the forms of daggers, puncturing the witch. As soon as Dagger fell, he started running around the witch, continuing to shoot. The witch started to chase him until he jumped on them, trying to get on the other side. Dagger ran on its tail as it launched him up and tried to eat him. Dagger quickly jumped on its teeth and as he was launched higher, he held a dagger in his hand and threw it at the witch, exploding as it made contact.

Dagger hit the ground as Silver jumped to his level. The eye-soar of a setting faded into the ally they were in before. As Dagger got up he turned back into his original form. Dagger looked at the witch stone as it fell to the ground. Dagger picked it up and put it against the stone on his bracelet, regaining some hp. Feeling better, he thew the stone to Silver, who kept it in a capsule in his back.

"let's head back, I heard they were catching cats at around this time," Silver said. Dagger held his arm out for Silver to climb on. As soon as he got in his hood, Dagger started walking back to the house.

When they got back in the house Silver jumped off of Dagger and went upstairs to his room. Dagger was still sore so it took longer to get up the stairs. Just as he was about to go in his room, Dagger looked at Mettaton's door. He sighed and went in Metta's room.

Still asleep.

Dagger walked over to Metta's bed and smiled. He picked him up slightly and pulled the blanket out from under him, putting it over him. Metta smiled in sleep as he turned on his side. Dagger laughed quietly at his reaction before walking out of his room. Dagger stepped in his room and was greeted by the cold air. He fell on his bed, not bothering to change into something else. Dagger immediately got under the covers and stayed like that.

"How am I going to survive with him living here?" That was the last thing that went through his mind before falling asleep.
