Meeting Luke

We arrived just in time for Zoe's checkup. Nurse Jenna walked in to Zoe's room and greets her: "Hi Zoe! How are you?" Zoe: "Ok I guess." Hannah: "She had a low grade fever a few days ago." Nurse Jenna: " Ok well I'll have a look at her and run some tests. In the meantime Hannah, feel free to walk around." Hannah took Nurse Jenna's advice. She went to get something to eat. After sitting down she noticed a blond haired boy was staring at her. She looked at him and immediately thought he was cute.

Suddenly, he decides to walk over to Hannah. Unknown guy: "Hi... I just saw you and honestly I was amazed. Would you be ok with me sitting down and talking to you?" Hannah: "I don't mind. I've had an awful week. First off, what is your name?" Unknown guy: "My name is Luke. I'm an Aussie." Hannah: "Hi Luke! Nice to meet my name is Hannah!" Luke: Hannah? What a beautiful name. Now tell me about your awful week. Maybe I can make it better.." Hannah: "Well... I have a boyfriend. He hasn't been very nice to me lately. Every night he goes out and parties. Then he goes home with a girl. I'm always alone and I can't take it anymore." Luke: "He doesn't deserve you. Let me come over one night. I'll make sure you don't spend the night alone. I think it's fair. If he wants to be with other girls then what's wrong with you being with me?" Hannah: "I don't see anything wrong with it. I'll make sure he leaves tomorrow night so you can come over." Luke: "Awesome! I promise that you will never want him back after you spend a night with me." Hannah: "Haha! What do you mean by I won't want him back after tomorrow night?" Luke: "Well first off.. I'll follow you on twitter plus get 3 more people to follow you. If I click on your follow button I promise you'll scream louder than that jerk Kris could." Hannah: "Ummm ok.. What's your last name?" Luke: "Hemmings." Hannah: "You're Luke Hemmings?!" Luke: "Yes I'm guilty. Arrest me princess. I'll spend the whole night with you tonight." Hannah: "Haha very funny. I'll text you tonight when he leaves." Luke: "Ok I can't wait!!!" Hannah thought to herself: Neither can I. Kris will be getting what he deserves. *to Luke* "I'll see you later then." Luke: "Bye!!"

Nurse Jenna walks up to Hannah to tell her about Zoe's test results. Luke came back because he knew something was wrong and he wanted to be there if the worst thing were to happen. Nurse Jenna: "Hannah it's important that you listen. Zoe's leukemia has come back and it's at stage 3." Hannah didn't say anything to Nurse Jenna. She sat there crying and Luke gently held her in his arms. That's something Kris wasn't there to do because he didn't care. All he cared about was partying, getting drunk, and going home with a girl. And here was Luke, the amazing guy she met today, doing his best to comfort her. He seemed to really care about Hannah. And Zoe. Perhaps even Alexis. If he could handle putting up with an annoying 13 year old. Hannah could have the perfect life with Luke if she wanted to. All she had to do was end the disaster area that her relationship with Kris has become. It wouldn't be easy but she could do it if it meant she could have Luke for the rest of her life.

With that, she chose to call Kris. He greeted her: "Hello? How did everything go? Is Zoe ok?" Hannah: "For your information she's not ok. Her leukemia came back and it's at stage 3 now. Oh by the way, thanks for leaving me here with her just so you can go get drunk." Kris: "I didn't party or get drunk!! I knew what we came up here for was serious so I didn't get stupid." Hannah: "I have a hard time believing that. Where are you right now?" Kris: "At our house." Hannah: "WHAT?! YOU LEFT US HERE WITHOUT TELLING ME?!" Kris: "No no no listen Zoe wanted her teddy bear so I went back to get it. Then I brought her the teddy bear and went back to our house. I drove my car up here that time so you have your car. You can drive back here when Zoe's situated." Hannah: "Here's the thing. Zoe will never be "situated" she's fighting for her life right now!! And you left which shows you don't care!!! So I want you out of my house when I get back because this "relationship" is over. You have 4 days to leave. Goodbye."

The whole time Hannah was arguing with Kris, Luke was by her side. He was overjoyed that she ended her "relationship" with Kris. Now he could ask her if she wanted to date him. Luke was sure that she would say yes but he still was hesitant to ask her. Hannah: "Luke?? What are you doing here?" Luke: "Oh I didn't want to leave you. I saw that your jerk of an ex boyfriend left. But don't worry he didn't leave without any injuries." Hannah: "What did you do?" Luke: "Oh ummm I beat him up. He deserved it." Hannah: "I know that but you didn't have to do that." Luke: "Yes I did. I hate it when guys don't care about their girlfriends or wives. He left you with your 2 daughters and I wasn't going to put up with it." Hannah: "Ummm Luke? I'm not married... And those are my 2 younger sisters.. But thanks." Luke: "You're welcome princess." Hannah: "Why do you keep calling me princess?" Luke: "Because... Ever since I first saw you I thought you were beautiful. And now I love you. A lot. I want to be the best boyfriend you've ever had. Also, I'll make sure Zoe has the best possible time on this planet that she can have. I promise you I'll do that. So all you have to do is say you'll date me." Hannah: "Really Luke? You mean all of that?" Luke: "Of course. If Zoe needs an expensive treatment I'll pay for it. I'd do anything for you and your sisters. That new iPhone Alexis is begging you for? I'll buy it. I'll buy the new iPhone for all of us. Just tell me what you want and I'll get it. Even if you want me to buy a little teddy bear for Zoe. I would even die for you Hannah. Admit it, Kris would never do that." Hannah: "You're right. He wouldn't die for me. He didn't care about me. And you do. So yes I'll date you Luke Robert Hemmings!" Luke hugs Hannah and then Zoe walks out with Nurse Jenna. Zoe: "Sissy!! Nurse Jenna is going to let me play in the sandbox!!" Hannah: "Awesome!!! But I'd like for you to meet somebody first." Zoe: "Who? That big blond haired kid with the weird accent?" Hannah: "Yes Zoe. His name is Luke and he has a weird accent because he's from Australia." Zoe: "Hi Luke!!! I'm Zoe!" Luke: "Hi Zoe! Once you're done playing in the sandbox I'm going to take you shopping at the mall!"
