Celeste
I look up at the chanting crowd, a excited expression on their pretty little faces. I realize that my mouth is hanging agape and blood is spilling out of it. I feel a warm liquid trickle down my forehead to my eye.
I look down at my stomach, slashes across it. I close my eyes, holding back the urge to cry as I get slashed again with the burning sword. I look up at the sky, trying to focus my powers but I couldn't. Not with the screams, not with the pain, not with this exposure.
I look back down at my ripped, simple dress, my hands tied above my head with chains. I try to get off my knees only to get slashed again. I couldn't help but scream in agony and pain. I look up at the stormy sky, the thunder rumbling angrily.
"Please don't be mad at them..." I murmur, trying my best not to say it loudly. Only he can hear me. "They're just mortals... P-please... Don't hurt them..." The thunder clams down slightly.
I sigh and look down at the cheering people. I spot a small crowd of people, yelling and crying as I get slashed again, more people beginning to show up. They're being held back by the Royal guards. I smile when I realize that they're trying to protect me. I look up at the sky and close my eyes.
"It's because not all of them are so bad..." I smile but the moment is ruined when the king slashes my stomach again, this time leaving the sword on my skin a little longer to burn through it. My scream pierces even my ears. What did I do to deserve this?
"Come now, goddess. Show us your almighty power... Aren't gods and goddesses supposed to be unstoppable? From what I see, you're pretty weak." The King leans close to my face and smirks evilly.
I glare at him, my eyes seeming to burn through his skull, "You pitiful creature, you'll be sorry.." I spat. I could see the fear in them but it turns to anger and then a hard slap. That probably left a mark.
"Today, loyal subjects, is the day I shall become a god!" He walks to the end of the stage, everyone clapping as he talks. Some wipe tears that had spilled out with their sleeves and some get on their knees and worship him as if he's already a god. I never thought humans were so... Terrible?
"You disgusting creatures!" A voice booms through the entire city, everything shaking. Oh no... They have angered him! I look up at the thunderous sky. "This is your goddess, release her at once!" The streets are filled with screams.
Everything falls into chaos; Everyone running around and screaming with fear, the King not knowing what to do. He falls to his knees, still looking up at the sky. "P-please forgive me!" He begs, folding his hands and holding them close to his chest, "I'm so sorry-"
"SORRY!?" The whole Earth seemed to shake at this point, the palace tumbling to the ground. The King screams and quickly jumps out of the way of the falling pillar before it could crush him. I look around myself, noticing that nothing is out of place. He's doing this on purpose. I frown and look up at the sky.
"THAT WAS AN ORDER!" I yell at him, the skies thundering louder and the screaming seeming to become louder as well. "When I told you not to hurt them, that was an order!" I yell again, hoping that he'd heard me.
"You shall be sorry when I put my vengeance upon you!" He doesn't stop but instead comes down to Earth himself. My eyes widen as a large hurricane begins forming, a large glowing creature emerging from it. He has angry, chocolate brown eyes, wavy blonde hair falling over his shoulders and a perfect figure. It's no doubt about it, that's him!
