"Amora, remember to dress appropriately for Mr. Malfoy. I may not like him...at all...but we must look suitable for a guest," Mum reminded me.

I nodded and ran upstairs into my room. I stepped into my large closet and ran towards the fancier dresses. I agreed on a black dress that wasn't too tight nor flowy. It had bell sleeves that went down to my elbows. The dress had a diamond on the tip of the v-neck and was topped off with a silver glittery belt. I did my hair into a braid that ended as a ponytail (cover picture) and stepped downstairs for Mum's approval.

Mum was dressed in a simple red dress that flared out at the skirt. The dress was fitted at the bodice and was high necked. Her hair was down naturally but clipped with a golden broach.

"You look pretty, Mummy!" I beamed.

"Awe thank you Sweetheart, you do as well," Mum replied.

Just then we heard the doorbell ring. "I'll get it Sweetheart, you stay here," Mother said before gliding over to the door.

I decided to sneak a peek at their greeting, making sure they don't see me. Mr. Malfoy was dressed in a dark blue dress shirt and black pants.

"Hello Granger, you look nice," the man smirked as he looked Mum up and down.

Mum just groaned. "Thanks, you do too. C'mon, Amora is in the dining room." The two started to walk towards where I was standing. I quickly and silently made my way back to my seat and sat up straight.

"Hi angel!" Mr. Malfoy said playfully as he entered the room. I excitedly jumped up from my seat and ran to him, jumping at the last second to hug him tightly. As expected, he caught me, chuckled, and hugged me back just as tight.

"Thank you for coming, Mr. Malfoy!" I said during our hug.

"Always," the man quietly replied.

We spent dinner with Mr. Malfoy telling me funny stories of Mummy as a kid, vice versa.

"Mother actually punched you in the face in your third year?!" I laughed.

"Yup! Broke my nose too! But of course, I deserved it back then, being mean to ur Mummy," Mr. Malfoy added, looked down, ashamed. "Also Granger, I apologize for my behavior as a child. It was forced by my father and I didn't know any better back then. I'm sorry." Mr. Malfoy looked sad when he faced my mother. Mother seemed to think something over, then smiled.

"Thank you for your apology. You're forgiven...Draco," she told the man.

" Thank you Hermione," Draco smiled.

Dinner ended after a few more stories when we left to watch a movie on the couch. Of course, I fell asleep soon into the movie.

"Hermione?" Draco asked after carrying Amy to her bedroom.

"Hmm?"

"Well, I've been wondering...who is her father?" Draco asked skeptically. Hermione seemed to tense at the question. "I'm not forcing you to answer," Draco said quickly. "It would just be nice if you would?"

Hermione thought over Draco's behavior from that day...

He's been so sweet with Amy. He read to her on his own free will at the bookshop. He made Amy happy by attending this dinner. He apologized for past behavior. He gently lifted Amy to bring her to her bed after she slept. Yeah, Draco has changed for the better. He would make a great father as well...

"I'll agree to tell you, but you have to keep guessing by asking questions about her," Hermione smirked.

"Fine by me!" Draco thought about his questions. "What's her blood status? I don't care about that anymore, but it would be helpful to guess."

"Well, in that case, half-blood."

"How old is she?"

"Seven."

Draco thought about Hermione's answers. "When's her birthday?"

"April 5."

Draco thought. That would mean she was conceived in June of 8 years ago. That's around when the Hogwarts party was...wait...the hair color, face, and personality...could it be?

"Umm...Hermione?" Draco started hesitantly. "Was she conceived at the Hogwarts party? You know, where we both got drunk?"

Hermione tensed even more if that was possible. "Umm...yeah?" she squeaked.

"Is Amora...mine?"

"Yes," Hermione whispered looking at the ground.
