Hospital

heyyyy this is chapter 10 woohooooo. and I skip the story until the day after Naruto succeed rescuing Gaara from the Akatsuki. Even tho it's too late......and Gaara is no longer a jinchuuriki......and Chiyo baa-san died, giving her life for our beloved Kazekage. I cried when I watch the anime huhuhu.

Yuki's POV

Konohagakure is shiny as always. Rain is just so rare. Maybe it's because we are in the Land of Fire.

I walk through the streets as I think about what happened earlier in the Hokage's office.

"Good job, Yuki. Perfect as always," Tsunade-sama compliments me for my mission. I smile to her. She gave me a solo mission, delivering some kind of documents. It's just a B-ranked mission. For a former ANBU like me, it's a piece of cake.

"Is that all, Tsunade-sama?" I asked her. I just want to leave this place and go to the Dango shop. I'm craving for those sweet dumplings.

"Yes, Yuki. Thankyou for the work," she said. I turn around and walk out the door. As I opened the door, I heard Tsunade-sama said, "Shizune. Is Kakashi still in the hospital?".

I froze.

"Yes, Tsunade-sama. Why?". Shizune replied. "Nothing. I was just asking. And by the way, why are you standing there, Yuki? Opening the door like that. I thought you've finished your business here,".

I blinked twice and realize that I'm standing in the doorway, blocking Asuma and a spiky ponytail guy from entering the Hokage's office.

"I-I'm sorry, Tsunade-sama," I walked out from there immediately. It was so embarrassing.

Come to think of it, I think she asked Shizune on purpose.

'Should I visit him? What happened to him this time? But Danzo-sama isn't gonna be pleased to hear that. What should I do?' I think about that without realizing that I'm already in front of the hospital.

Meeting him after all we've gone through is just hard as hell. I told him to left me. Is there any reason for me to walk through his door and say 'hi'?

But in the other side, I want to see him. I want to know about his condition. I want to ask him if he's okay. I want to look at his face.

I decided to jump to the window of the hospital. Looking one by one, searching for him. After a few windows, I saw him sleeping inside the room. Well, I don't know if he's sleeping or not, he has his book covering his face. A new book. Wow, I never know he reads anything beside Make-Out Paradise.

I sit outside the window. Hiding from him. I don't have any courage to knock or well....see him. I don't know what to say. Seriously, I feel like a teenage girl.

"Why don't you just come in instead of sitting out there?"

I heard his voice.

Crap. I should've went to the dango shop.

Kakashi's POV

Make-Out Tactics is just unbelievable. I've read this book for like tenth times right now. It's so boring in the hospital. I told them I'm healthy enough to leave but they won't listen. It has been two weeks and I missed the chance to go with Naruto, Sakura, Yamato and the new kid from the foundation, Sai. They're on their way to save Sasuke again.

I covered my face with the book and try to sleep when I heard someone is walking outside the window. It's Yuki. I know it, I can feel her chakra signature.

She just sit there outside my window. I feel my heart is beating way too fast. I think I might get a heart attack.

'what is she doing there?' I think to myself. She doesn't knock or anything. She just sit there, outside my window.

"Why don't you just come in instead of sitting out there?" I said it. Not too loud. But I'm pretty sure she heard that.

I hear her standing on her feet. Still hesitating whether to come or not, but then she opens the window and jump in.

"why are you here?" she asked with a cold voice.

"I'm sick. This is hospital,". Yes, I know I am annoying.

Her eyes twitched and she looks at me, irritated. But she still asks, "you know what I mean,".

I smile and replied, "I overused my sharingan. My body couldn't stand it,".

Her emerald green eyes stare at me. She got a pink blush on her cheek, it's really contrast with her pale skin.

"I'm sorry," she said.

"for what?"

"saying bad things to you the other day. You don't deserve it,".

I sigh and replied, "it's fine. I was out of the line too. I shouldn't push you that far,".

She smiles at me. Damn, she's so beautiful I just can't even....

"if you're smart. You'll get away from me," she said with a bit....just a tiny bit of joking tone inside her words.

"Well, then I'd rather not," I said it with the friendliest way of talking I've ever did. She's driving me crazy.

She shifted and cough a bit when she heard me. And then, she changed the topic.

"I heard you save the Kazekage,".

"No, not really. We were too late. He died before we got him,"

"No way! He's still alive now. How could he be dead?"

"Someone from the Sunagakure use a justu on him. She was one of the elders there. Chiyo-sama gave her life for Gaara,"

"I see. So, who's the one who kidnapped him?"

"Akatsuki. They work in pairs. Deidara and Sasori got the Kazekage. Sasori was Chiyo-sama's grandchild,".

Yuki nodded as I tell her the story. She smiles at me again. I don't know what's gotten into her, but she's so friendly today.

She's always a woman with a few words. But, once you get to know her. She's pretty friendly. It's just that she's so shy at first.

We talked for hours and hours until the sun sets down. She was about to leave when suddenly, it's raining.

"I thought it's not gonna rain. I didn't bring any umbrella with me," she said. Standing in front of the window.

"Don't go out yet. You can stay here," I asked her. She seems a bit confused. "But we're in a hospital. I can't stay here,".

I stand from my bed. Walk towards her. She doesn't realize that I'm standing behind her. Just, admiring the view of her. I can't hold my smile.

She turns around and she looked pretty surprised when she saw me standing behind her.

And we're staring at each other. In silence.
