I thrashed my arms out infront of me, curling them around my head as I collided with the airbag.
I sat there for a few moments, trying to process what had just happened. But I dared not to think any longer, for the beast had made an appearance over the horizon, it's jet black fur and scaled tail flicking back with ever stride.
I let out an aggravated groan as I quickly shoved the air bag out of my face and made my way to the door. One the way out, I saw a license, with a picture of my kidnapper, who had turned into a beast.
Aidan Destroid.
Wow, ok, so now I know his name, i'm sure that's going to help. I thought with sarcasm as I quickly threw the door ajar and pounced out, my long, unkept waist length hair trailing down my back as I did so. My shaking legs quickly firmed up as I began to try and climb my way out of the ditch.
As I attempted to do so my hand striked across a sharp stone, I let out a small cry and instantly felt the warm liquid of my blood spilling over the wound.
I felt tears stinging my eyes, but I quickly wiped them away with my good hand and wrapped my injured hand in my jacket, my mind feeling blank in panic as I realised that I was stuck.
I couldn't climb onto the car and jump out, the ditch was to steep, and I also couldn't climb out, so what was I to do!?
As I began to hear the faint thuds of Aidan (the beast) approaching, I heard the sound of another creature galloping across the land, nearing the ditch, followed by the sound of something vaulting onto the ground and jogging towards the ditch.
I braced myself, expecting another sort of beast, a dragon? Some sort of evil creature? I sat there, swimming in my miseries as I waited for my fate. - But to my suprise, the so called mysterious creature turned out to be a young adult, clothed in medieval chain armor, with startling blue eyes and sandy blonde hair that fell over his eyes. Apart from these features, his face explained it all. He was in a hurry and he was obviously here to help. He quickly directed his gaze to Aidan, who was approaching almost in an impossible speed. He leant over the edge and urgently held his hand out, causing me to almost immediately grasp it with my good hand, and with a small grunt of effort, I flung myself up with my remainding strength to be hoisted up with ease onto the side of the ditch, my chest heaving from the effort.
Before I knew what was happening, I found myself being hoisted onto the rump of a horse like no other, it's pure white mane reaching it's forearms, and it's flowing tail reaching the ground. It was clothed in horse armor, which had diamond studs embedded into the chestplate and the browband. I was quickly followed by my mysterious rescuer, who spun the horse around, and kicked the steed into a gallop, with me hanging onto his waist with one arm for my dear life. Apart from all the effort that I had used up, I managed to shout out the words,
"May I have your name? My rescuer?"
He managed to glance back at me.
"The name's Dan."
He flashed me a killer grin.
"Dan Erendragon"
