He was ruled by his parents all the time. He never had the freedom to do what he wanted to do even though these things that he wanted can easily be done in their world. He doesn’t know if his parents were just over protective of him and his sister or they were just simply strict.
His name was Calyx, and his parents were Crooger and Craine. His younger sister who happens to be the favourite of his parents was Cringy.
On twilight of the day, his father was examining his spaceship while his mother was packing up things. He wondered where they will go, so he asked them.
“Excuse me Crooger, are we going to somewhere?” he asked while trying to help examining the amazing car.
“Only I and Craine will go to somewhere and you are in-charged of looking after your sister.” Crooger said strictly.
“But where are you going? When will you be back here? Why Cringy will not be with you?” these questions came out from his mouth rapidly.
“It’s already none of your business. What I have just said is what you will do.”
He intentionally nodded as his father started to act like a monster with sharp teeth.
Just then, his mother carrying his little sister came by their side. “Surely you knew I and your father are leaving you for couple of days. And you will be the one to take care of Cringy.” Asked his mother with one eyebrow raised just like the picture of a volcano.
”Will it be okay if…”
“No going out to the outer space specially near the area of the planet earth. You know that planet is a backward civilization and we normal beings do not belong there.” His shoulders lowered down as his mother cut off his question with an exact answer.
“Mama, Papa come back soon okay?” Cringy said sweetly and kissed their parents. His temper got hotter as he obviously saw the sudden change of mood of their parents. “We will Cringy.” Crooger responded sweetly to Cringy. After that their parents flew away.
“You, get inside the house and never go out unless I say so. Do you understand Cringy?” he said to his sister in a loud voice and that made Cringy frightened and obeyed him.
“No going out to the outer space specially near the area of the planet earth. You know that planet is a backward civilization and we normal beings do not belong there.”A flashback of what Craine said earlier visited in his mind.
Specially near the area of the planet earth. He thought.
Because he was so mad and jealous, he stormed to his spaceship and fly away. He disobeyed his parents just because of anger and hatred. He got his self nearer to planet Earth, and accidentally he pressed the turbo button of his car that caused his spaceship to enter the planet.
He landed safely and because of curiosity he went out of his car. He was so shocked upon seeing the place. He held his breath for tall brown monsters with green hairs surrounded him. His fear got bigger and bolder so he hurriedly entered inside his car again and observed the surroundings.
He waited for the monsters to move but they didn’t. He went outside again and touched the still monsters. They didn’t react what could be the reason? Are these guys paralyzed?He thought after touching the tall monsters. Minutes have passed and he saw something new to his eyes again. Walking through the tall monsters is a creature of his same size but it doesn’t have big bold eyes like what’s in him. I wonder if that is his head for it is too small.Calyx thought while observing the creature. The walking creature turned to his direction. The creature was so shocked by the moment he saw Calyx. Calyx on the other hand was antsy for the creature sighted him with a long simple machine. Calyx was so furious by the moment so he hurriedly ran to his spaceship. Before he could enter his car, a big bang hit his car.
Calyx was so scared and he has no idea of what to do next. He sneaked around through his window and found out that many species were waiting for him and that the surrounding was already dark.
I should’ve not let my anger and hatred eat my soul. I should’ve followed what my parents always remind me. I shouldn’t be here. I should’ve not been experiencing the hostile attitude of the species living here. My sister, Cringy, I wonder what happened to her right now. She’s all alone and she can’t bear it yet. How can I get back to my home? Now all the regrets in this world were up on his sleeves. He then realized how important to follow what parents would always say.
The species shoot his car again and again. He went outside as the species got calmed. He placed his hands upward as the species were trying to shoot him.
“Please don’t shoot mad species. I don’t want war. I was lost.” He cried.
But after explaining things to the species, a big cloth with small holes covered him and that made his every move so difficult. Moments later, he’s already inside a room of white things and a big see-through thingy. He saw another specie cover with white cloth and a small astronaut helmet.
How can I escape in this world? I should move quickly.
He used all his strength and tried his special ability. The species were so disturbed because of the sharp sound that he spread all over the area. He grabbed the chance to escape and traced the path that they have passed earlier.
Later he found his spaceship. Though the place was so dark he never had a hard time looking for it because of his night vision eyesight every dark time.
He fixed his car and tried again and again to turn the engine on. After several trials it turned on and then he rapidly fly away. He pushed the turbo button so hard and that made his car fly faster than ever.
After five hours of long journey back home, he landed in their backyard silently and safely. He hurriedly gets inside their house to check his sister.
“Cringy, I am so sorry. I hope you were good when I was not around.” He cried when he hugged his sister.
“It’s okay. I’m good. I mean nothing bad happened well except when I knew that you left me.” Cringy hugged him back so tight.
“I’m so sorry. I promise I will not do that ever again. I will never leave you and I will never be bad to you. I’m so sorry sweetie.”
“Its okay. Hush now Calyx, I am fine. By the way, where have you been?”
“Hmm, it’s nothing important anymore. Let’s just say, obey Crooger and Craine always.” Then he hugged his sister again.
“Mama and Papa, never ever forget to respect them too. That’s why they loath you.” Cringy said while giggling.
“Alright, Mama and Papa, I’m sorry for that lil sister.”
“Don’t say sorry to me. I’m neither Mama nor Papa.” Then they laughed together.
