"just put the flowers in the cart zachary." daniel groaned. zach looked up from the bouquet of sunflowers that were in his hands and shot daniel a dirty look.

"excuse me, but i have to make sure that these are the perfect ones for kinslee's sake. if you'll excuse me i'll be picking out the best set of sunflowers you've ever done seen." zach said as he reverted his attention back down to the flowers. daniel sighed and shook his head in agony, pulling his phone out of his pocket. zach put the flowers back into their previous spot and pulled out a new set. his fingers stroked the yellow petals in front of him, taking in every detail. "these, these are the ones." zach said confidently as he rested the flowers into the metal cart.

"it's about time, jeepers." daniel said pocketing his phone. "cornbinnnn." the brunette boy called out. "hoenahhh." two slender figures, one blonde one brunette, stood up from the bench, making their way over.

"what else did we need?" the blonde asked as he shoved his hands into the pockets of his black ripped jeans. the tall brunette pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket, glancing over it.

"uhhh, well we only got the first thing on the list so far," he paused looking at the boy with the rosy cheeks to which zach put his hands up in defense, "it looks like we still need note cards, some yellow ribbon, scissors, and i think that's it." jonah stated, folding the piece of paper back up and returned it to his pants pocket.

"well onward we go my noble steeds!" daniel yelled, causing a few people to glance over at the four boys. jonah shook his head, walking forward causing the rest to trail behind him.

the four teens weaved their way in and out of isles, scrambling for the items that their curly headed friend had put on a list for them, earning dirty looks after many outbursts from the fellow shoppers around them.

"why did jack trust us to pull this off?" corbyn giggled as the group placed the few items up on the conveyer belt.

"honestly, i don't know. has he met any of us?" jonah chuckled, as the rest of them nodded in agreement, the goofiest smiles beaming across each of their faces.

"i've been waiting for this moment since the first day jack met kinny, though." zach stated as he handed the cashier two twenties.

"well, let's hope that we all actually pull this off." daniel gulped. zach retrieved the change from the cashier and nodded at daniel. the four teens thanked the middle aged woman, grabbing the two bags off of the top of the checkout carousel and made their way out of the store and to their car.

this is shit i know i'm sorry. my updates haven't been the greatest lately but hopefully they'll all tie together at some point. i think the next few chapters i have planned should turn out cute but what do i know. don't forget to vote and share this book with ya friends (; jk you don't have to but it would be really sweet if you did. i ❣️ u guys.
