9. The Sailor Guardians - Found

Sailor Mercury awoke, feeling weak and sore. As she sat up, she winced and looked at her body, setting cuts and bruises from her battle with the Berthier. She balled her hand into a fist, at the fact that she let the others down. She looked around her room and noticed that she was chained down at all.

‘That’s weird. I’m assuming they are keeping me prisoner, but why aren’t I chained down?’ Sailor Mercury thought. ‘I could just walk out of here if I wanted too.’ She got up and walked over to the door, pushing and pulling on it to no avail. ‘Of course it wouldn’t be that simple.’ She sighed and looked at the door, calculating how to open the door. ‘I hope the others are ok.’

Sailor Mars awoke, feeling weak and lightheaded. As she sat up, she looked down at herself, seeing the bruises and cuts from her fight with Koan. She gripped her shoulders tightly, shaking in anger at the fact that she lost and failed. She looked down and noticed that she wasn’t chained or tied up.

‘That’s odd. They took me prisoner, yet they didn’t chain me up or tie me down.’ Sailor Mars thought then smirked. ‘They are so stupid. I could just walk out of her as simple as that.’ She grinned and got up, dusting herself off as she got to the door only to hit it with her body. She sighed and walked back to the wall, staring at the door. ‘Of course they locked the door.’ She glared at the door before thinking about the others. ‘I hope the others are all right.’

Sailor Jupiter awoke, feeling sore. As she got up and leaned against the wall, she saw her arms and legs covered in bruises from her fight with Petz. She growled at the fact that she lost and put the others in dangers. She moved her hand to her head and realized that she wasn’t chained.

‘Huh. I thought they would have chained me up if they took me prisoner. I am the more physical fighter out of all of us.’ She thought and looked over at the door. ‘That door is locked. There is no way they would have left it unlocked.’ She stood up and ran at the door, ramming it with her shoulder, leaving a small dent in the door. ‘Just as I thought. Left it locked. Might as well keep doing this since I’m making progress.’ Sailor Jupiter continued to run and ram the door, over and over again. ‘I hope everyone else is ok.’

Sailor Venus awoke, feeling lightheaded, sore, and fatigued. As she sat up, she let out a painful hiss as she felt every muscle in her body cry out in pain from her battle with Calaveras. She looked down at herself, seeing cuts and bruises. She bit her cheek, knowing she failed and put everyone in danger. She noticed that she wasn’t tied up.

‘That’s a relief because then I would be in very more pain.’ She thought and spotted the door. ‘I shouldn’t give my hopes up. That door is locked.’ She sighed and looked around the room, trying to find something to try to open the door. ‘I hope the others are ok.’

All four guardians stared at the door and suddenly felt a rush of power. They were embraced in their planetary colors and released their new found energy on the door.

“SAILOR MERCURY/MARS/JUPITER/VENUS ULIMATE RELEASE!”

Beams of light hit each individual door, destroying the doors. They smiled and stepped out of their rooms, looking side to side and smile brighter seeing one another. They cheered and shared a group hug.

“Guys.” Sailor Mercury said. “Where are Sailor Moon and Sailor S?” She asked, causing the others to look at each other, wondering the same thing.

“They could still be with King Endymion and Chibiusa since Sailor S is very strong.” Sailor Jupiter said, remembering when Sailor S saved Chibiusa from danger.

“But how did we get that much energy so quickly?” Sailor Mercury asked.
Sailor Mars and Venus looked at each other before sighing. “I guess Sailor Moon did listen to Sailor S and managed to get captured.” They said in unison. Sailor Mercury and Jupiter looked at each other, nodding their heads.

“Then I guess we need to go look for Sailor Moo-ugh!” Sailor Mars cried, feeling a foreign but intense source of energy.

“Mars! What’s wrong?” Sailor Venus cried in concern as she grabbed Sailor Mars’ shoulders and gasped.

“What? What’s wrong, guys?” Sailor Jupiter asked.

“That energy…I haven’t felt that since…the Silver Millennium...and…” Sailor Venus trailed before running in a set direction with Sailor Mars following behind her.

“Guys!” Sailor Jupiter called out and growled, following them. Sailor Mercury sighed and followed them.

The sailor guardians stopped in front of a door similar to the doors of their holding rooms. They panted as they stared the door down.

“Man…I really hate these doors.” Sailor Jupiter said as the others nodded in agreement.

“I agree, but we gotta bust this door down. Sailor Moon is behind this door.” Sailor Venus said.

“The energy both Sailor Venus and I felt earlier was the same energy we felt when Usagi became Princess Serenity.” Sailor Mars explained.

“So then…why did Usagi transform into Princess Serenity?” Sailor Jupiter asked, causing the others to shrug their shoulders.

“I don’t know, but right now we have to protect the Silver Crystal and Princess Serenity as our main and overall duty.” Sailor Venus stated. “All right girls! On the count of three, bust it down!”

“1!”
“2!”
“3!”
“SAILOR MERCURY/MARS/JUPITER/VENUS ULIMATE RELEASE!”

The door exploded, letting light fill in the dark room. The sailor guardians looked in the room and saw the outline of the familiar twin-tails.

“Usagi!” The sailor guardians cried and rushed to the figure, carrying her out into the light. Once out into the lighted hallway, they gasped and laid her down gently, staring at her in surprise.

The woman they carried out was not Usagi, but someone similar to her. Her skin was pale as Usagi’s, but the major difference was the hair color. Instead of blonde, it was pink. The woman groaned softly before slowly opening her eyes, revealing the familiar ruby red eyes. “Hm…Ami…Rei…Makoto…Mina…” The sailor guardians looked at her in shock and confusion as they looked at her clothing. It was a simple dress with a golden crescent moon in the center of her chest. On her wrist was a white arm bracelet with a matching golden crescent moon.

Sailor Venus kneeled next to her, putting the woman’s head in her lap and brushed back a single pink strand of hair, gasping as she saw a familiar mark on her forehead. A yellow crescent moon. “Princess Serenity…” She whispered under her breath, before looking up at the others. “King Endymion wasn’t lying…Sakura really is Princess Serenity.” The others looked at the mark on Sakura’s head and quickly kneeled to her.

“We are ready to serve and protect you, Princess Serenity.”
