Kakashi's POV

We stood there in silence for a moment. Her emerald green eyes locked in mine. Both of my eyes. My left hand pulled her waist closer and my right hand is on the window to keep our balance. Her hands are on my face. Trailing my jaw as I lean close to her. She breaths heavily, her cheeks are pink and her eyes still look deep to my eyes.

I pulled down my mask and kissed her.

At first, she froze in her place. Her lips are so still when I pushed mine to hers. I pulled a bit and said, still locking my eyes to hers, "you're cold,".

Suddenly, she returns my kiss. She closed her eyes with her hands holding on to my face. We kissed. Passionately. Like nothing could stop up. With the sound of thunders rumbling outside the window. I love her. I want her. She's mine.

We pull out from each other after a while. Still looking at each other's eyes. "I love you," I said it to her.

She smiles, and slowly, tears are running down her cheek. She doesn't say it back to me. I know something must be bothering her. I didn't ask. I don't want to. I just want to hold her tight.

I pull her into a hug. She cries on my shoulder. Both of her hands are on my back, gripping my shirt. She sobs slowly, but, man it sounds painful. Seeing her like this is killing me. I really want to know what's happening, yet I don't want her to leave me again. Like the last time.

"it's okay. You'll be fine," I said, trying to comfort her. I wonder why would she cry everytime I confess to her that I love her. Am I that pathetic?

She stops crying after a moment. Pull herself out from me and looked down. I push her chin up, to make her look at me and erase the remaining tears on her face.

"Thank you, Kakashi,".

She said that with a smile. A true one.

Yuki's POV

I put both of my hands on his face. Trailing his jaw. Knowing how good-looking he is behind that mask.

My eyes locked on him. I don't know how long I've been avoiding those eyes. His black eye and his sharingan. But now when I do, there's no going back.

He kissed me. I'm a bit surprised even though I half expected that it would've happened anyway. I froze in my place. My lips are so still when he pushed his on mine.

"You're cold," he said as he pulled out his lips from mine.

'No! Don't go!' I think about that as I returned his kiss. We kissed deeply, passionately, and it feels like our first and our last. It feels like eternity but at the same time it feels too fast.

The sound of thunders rumbling outside the window didn't stop us. I opened my eyes slowly and look deep into his eyes. He's definitely in front of me, but he's just unreachable, in many other reasons.

"I love you,"

He said that. I can't help but smile, knowing that he loves me. Tears are slowly running down on my cheek. I don't know what to feel. I'm happy and sad at the same time. Happy because he loves me and sad because I know we're not meant to be.

He hugged me as I cried on his shoulder. "it's okay. You'll be fine," he said, comforting me.

I pulled out from his hug and looked down, but he take my chin and make me look at him.

"Thank you, Kakashi," I thanked him and smile. He smiles back at me.

"I think I should probably go," I said. I know I'm flushed.

He let go of me and I walk to the door. As I opened the door, I hear him say, "I'll be waiting here tomorrow,".

I chuckle, "you're sick. Of course you'll be here,".

"yeah, you're right. But that's not the point. I was asking you to come back tomorrow," he said it but his voice is fading away. I guess he's pretty embarrassed himself too.

"Let me see if I can,".

I close the door and smile. The biggest one I've made since 5 years ago.
