Chapter 7: Suspicious

Isabellas’s POV

I woke up so early in the morning. I wanted to visit Mindy because yesterday she didn’t come with me in the showcase. Mr. Kim told me she is sick. I don’t want to ditch her because of the showcase but she still insists for me to go. At least if I obey her and I go to the showcase, she’ll in her peace of mind.

I go downstairs and I am shocked to see Mindy sitting in the couch. Why is she here? I am supposed to visit her. Maybe she recovered very well. Yeah! That’s it. I walked down to approach her. “Hey, Good morning Mindy!” I ran to hug her. “Whoa! Seem like we didn’t see each other in a year.” She jokes around again. “You made me so worried.” I told her. “Oh! Sorry if that’s the case. I don’t want you to ditch the showcase. So how was it?” She asked. I can’t tell her that I got picked to be with Got7 in the stage and Jackson talked to me in about 2 hours and they even offered a ride for me. She’ll get crazy. But I don’t want to hide anything to her. I decided that I’ll tell her soon but not now. “Uhmm, the show case is not that bad at all.” I told. “Not bad at all? What was that? They never amazed you?” She asked. “Okay fine, they are really amazing. They have a lot of fans. They are even caring towards their fans.” I told her. Oopps why did I mutter the last sentence. “Why do you know that they really care about their fans huh?” Here we go in interrogation time. “Uh~ ah~ eh~ because when I got lost in line, the ushers helped me.” Hihihi Sorry Mindy I don’t really want to lie but I can’t tell you anything right now. I’ll wait for a sign so that I can tell you. “Yahh!! Enough of interrogation. How are you feeling right now?” I asked her. “Uh~? Uhmm I am okay now. I just got fever but I am feeling okay now.” She seems to be lying but why would she even lie. Maybe she really had a valid reason to lie to me. I can’t interrogate her for that even though she interrogated me lately. It is a very crucial thing. Maybe we will fight if I do so. After our conversation, Mindy told me that her parents wanted her to be home soon. So we say our good bye so soon.

Hay! I am so bored. Why do Mindy need to be home so soon? Way back then she will even give conditions to her parents just to be here until 10 pm. I suddenly miss her. But why? I don’t know how I feel. I always trust my feelings with everything but why do my feelings with Mindy is so strange. I felt that she is lying to me. Why couldn’t she tell me? I suddenly feel my conscience. Should I tell her about yesterday or should I just keep it for a while. Ugggrh! Stupid feelings. Why did I even trust you? You are not like this before.

After my meditation with my inner self, I heard someone knocking on my door. “I’m coming.” I opened the door and I saw Jackson!! Whoa what on earth is he doing here? “Uh~~” I am really speechless right now. But I found my strength and asked him. “What are you doing here?” “I am here to visit you.” He respond. “Wae? You know that you are an idol. You shouldn’t be visiting your fans house.” I told him. “Hahahaha.” He even laughed at me. “What are you laughing at?” I asked him. “You sounded like our manager.” He answered. “That’s not funny at all. Go back to your dorm now. I don’t wanna talk to you.” I told him. I hate when someone laughs at me without any valid reason. I am about to shot my door when I found out that he already inside my room. “What are you doing?” I asked him but this time with stiffness in my voice. “Checking out your room. So this is what it looks like your room was. You really seem to have a lot of Kpop Group Idol posters in your room.” Hahaha. Go on check my room as you want just don’t touch anything.  He is scrolling around my room, he even checked out my bathroom and even my closet. Even if he is so handsome, how can he invade my room that so easily? Just as I am busy worrying about what would he do next, I realized that maybe this is another dream again. Just like what happened lately about Chansung in my dream. I pat my cheeks to wake up from this dream. I even closed my eyes and counted one to five. When I open my eyes, I still see him. He even laughed at me. “What are you doing?” He asked me. “I wanted to wake up, that’s why I pat myself.” I am getting annoyed now. “You are already awake.” He laughed. Even though I am annoyed I still managed to laugh. Maybe I am not really dreaming. Ugh, why didn’t I see this coming? “Hahaha. Yeah, I know right?” We laughed together. I am in the verge of craziness. We talked a lot. We talked about their showcase, about his members, and about their debut. Now I can see why many girls are crazy about them. Jackson speaks sweetly and polite but I can still sense his swag.

We headed downstairs because my mom called us to eat dinner. “Did you talk a lot?” My mom asked. “Yeah, we talked a lot.” I answered. “Okay, let’s eat. I prepared this for our special guest this evening.” My mom bragged. She is always proud about her cooking ability. No doubt my dad falls in love with her. “Kamsahamnida, I’ll eat well.” Jackson said. He started eating the pork belly. “Is it good?” My mom asked again. She will never stop until she verified how she cooks well. “Dae, kamsahamnida.“ Jackson replied. He is really polite towards older people. I nearly burst in laughter when I saw him eating. I decided to watch him eat for a bit and I can see how grateful he is towards the food my mom prepared. We eat happily and talked a lot about things. When we finished eating, Jackson told us that he needed to leave because of his manager called him. When he is about to leave, he once again thanked my mom for the delicious food she prepared for him. “Mrs. Park, kamsahamnida for the dinner you prepared.” “You’re welcome.” My mom replied. “I’ll visit again soon, is that alright for you?” He asked. “Of course, you are always welcome here.” After that, we said our good bye to him.

“I like him.” My mom said. I was so shocked in a while. “What?” I asked her. “I said I like Jackson. He is very polite. Your dad must be here when he visit us again.” My mom explained. “Well, we never know when that will happen again. He is an idol and he has a very busy schedule.” I explained to her. “Okay.” My mom agreed. I already cleared to myself that Jackson came here to visit one of their group’s fan. I would not expect big things. I also decided to tell Mindy about this and the showcase. I can’t endure it anymore especially this time that my mom already saw Jackson.
