December 14th, Phantomhive manor.
There were bright, glistening red and orange flames uproaring from the Phantomhive manor. It had been attacked that night, hours after Ciel Phantomhive's 10th Birthday. Ashes fell from the sky, the ground covered.
Angelina Dalles showed up minutes after, finding out that her sister Rachel and her husband Vincent both died in the tragedy. But Ciel's body was never found.
Several months had passed since the terrible tragedy, and yet no sign of Ciel. Until one day, Ciel was in the Royal London Hospital, alive. Beside him stood a tall butler in black, named Sebastian Michaelis.
Only a few days had passed since Ciel arrived at the hospital, along with Sebastian, and they were aready heading back to the manor.
Months, years had passed since the tragedy and when Sebastian appeared. Ciel started acting weird since he came back. He wasn't himself, he wasn't his happy, cheerful self like when he was younger. He was cold, determined to complete something.
I haven't talked to nor have I seen Ciel since the Campania sank. I found it unusual because there was never a time that I wasn't talking to Ciel or Elizabeth, but after the manor burned down, we both went our separate ways. Ciel became the head of the Phantomive household, the chief manager of Funtom Companies and the Queen's Watchdog while I on the other hand, am the same as when I was younger. The daughter of a Noble family, a shy, weird girl. The only thing diffrent is that I have a demon butler, Shiro.
Shrio was the butler of my mother and father. Mother and father died four months after the Phantomhive manor burned down, their death was unknown. Scotland Yard believed that they are murdered, in their own house. The crime scene was rather gruesome, blood was splattered all of the walls and on the furniture and there were puddles of blood on the floor and yet, no bodies. No clues, no evidence. From that day forward, Shiro became my butler.
My father told Shiro that if something ever happened to him and if the contact that they made was never fufilled, Shrio had to work for me.
