"Its your job. You have to do this Evie." Alex said before hanging up the phone. I rolled my eyes and walked back to the group. I stood in front of my gang, 'The Misfits', and scanned the room. "Ok! Everyone quiet down. You all know Alex had to leave to go deal with another gang, therefore I will be in charge of The Misfits until he gets back." I explained to the group of people. As I looked around I heard groans and scoffs coming from the group. "Look, I know y'all don't want me to be in charge because I got the job everyone wanted. I'm sorry Alex chose me to go and work with 'The Vipers', but you'll have to deal with it. So, until Alex gets back I'm in charge. Just continue doing your normal deals. That's all, thank you." I sighed as I turned and walked outside heading to 'The Vipers' warehouse. I had been put in charge of the 'The Misfits' while Alex was gone on another deal with another gang. This deal was very big and important. Alex was putting his life on the line just so we could continue being drug dealers. I walked into the warehouse and saw Xavier sitting on the sofa. I turned around but before I could leave I heard him speak. "Evie, come here." He spoke in a calm yet demanding voice, so I walked over to him. "What do you want?" I demanded. He looked me up and down and then back at his hands. "I need you to help me do a huge job. I'm asking you because your not as new to this thing as the other new girls are. You're more experienced than them, so I need you to help me." Xavier stated quickly. I rolled my eyes. "And why should I?" I questioned. He stood up and stared into my eyes. "Because, it's your job." He stated his eyes not wavering at all. I shook my head to stop myself from staring into his eyes any longer. "Fine, I'll do it." I sighed and walked to the other side of the room. I didnt want to be near him until the rumors died down. I sighed and sat on the floor. After 15 minutes Nesho and Sarah walked in. "Evie, can we talk to you?" Sarah asked, I nodded and stood up. We walked to the back of the warehouse and Nesho gave me a sweet smile. "So, I have been informed that, Evie, you and Sarah are part of the gang 'The Misfits' correct?" Nesho asked softly. I glared at Sarah. She took a step back and cast her gaze down at the ground. "Yes, we are part of that gang, but we would like for it to stay between us three. If Xavier finds out, I'm afraid, he will ruin our lives." I stated softly looking at Xavier across the room. Sarah nodded. "We can trust Nesho, Evie, we have to. This is our job." I nodded and smiled slightly. "Thank you Nesho." I said and she nodded. I walked back over to Xavier and stood in front of him. "The job you told me about? How bad is it exactly?" I asked and he smirked. "We have to go into town. I have a guy waiting on us to arrive. So, we have to leave now." He stated walking towards the door. I followed behind him like a lost puppy. "But, how dangerous is the job?" I asked trying to get him to answer. He stopped dead in his tracks and turned on his heel to face me. "If we make it back.......," He trailed off. I frowned slightly. "What do you mean 'If' we make it back?" I asked grabbing his attention. "We might not make it back tonight. So, are you still in? Or not?" He asked. I walked in front of him. "Come on." I said slightly walking faster.
