After a few hours, I started to wake up. Starting to sit up I realized that I was no longer in the ball gown but the clothes that I had been in earlier that day. Looking around I noticed that I was in a tent, I peeked my head outside and saw that the tent was in a ginormous tree. Completely in awe I walked out and looked up into the branches to see more tents and a building of some sorts. There were boys and girls running and jumping all over the place trying to get their daily duties done. One girl that seemed to be around my age spotted me and waved, a big smile spreading across her face. Her face became startled and she ran away as fast as she could. I turned around to see what it had been that had scared her and to my fear I saw Felix coming my way. Terrified, I started to back away and look around to see how far the closest branch was.

"Anya?" a voice said behind me. I turned around and saw Peter who had a look of concern on his face. "Are you alright? Is something wrong?"

"Why am I here?" I asked him. I wanted to ask him where Jack was too, but I thought better of it.

"I brought you here to keep you safe. You know this Anya. I told you that Jackson only wanted you for your powers and I also told you that Arith was the only place safest for you."

"That makes no difference!" I yelled at him then I ran and jumped.

"ANYA!!" Peter screamed. I barely made the branch. When I jumped to the branch that had been directly below us, I landed on my stomach and I'm certain that I bruised a few ribs. I hauled myself up onto the branch and looked up at the branch that I had been on. Peter was still standing there staring at me wide eyed, fear and panic was written across his face. Once stable on my branch I ran for it.

Jack?!?! Jack, where are you??? I thought to him. He had to respond, he had to.

Anya??? Thank goodness, he was alright. You must leave Arith! It's not safe for you here.

Jack. I'm coming to get you first and then we are leaving this place together. I don't care what you say I am not going to leave you. He was silent for a long time and I started to panic. I started to wonder if Peter or Felix had gotten to him while we were talking.

I love you. A wave of relief washed over me. Just hearing those words calmed me down.

I love you too and I'm coming to find you no matter what. Now tell me where you are so I can find you.

I'm in a room somewhere but I heard Peter say something about moving me to a cave to keep me away from you. If you do come to find me, please be careful.

I will, and I'll see you soon. I started to run full out then. I had a feeling that he was somewhere in the strange building and I knew I had to get there quickly before Peter.

The building was not as big as I had thought it would be. It seemed to be about the same size as mine and dad's apartment. I knew then that it wouldn't be too hard to find Jack if the inside was about the same size as our apartment. I burst through the door and was relieved to a small hallway, but it had several doors in front of me.

Jack?

Yeah?

I'm in the building but I don't know what room you're in, so I need you to yell and bang on the door till I can find you.

Will do. And as soon as he said that I heard a faint noise that sounded like yelling. I ran down the corridor, listening for the noise and wanting it to become louder. Soon the noise was right next to me. Since I wasn't sure which room the sound was coming from, I put my ear against the one on the right wall first. There was nothing, so I went to the door on the left side and listened.
