"Lacey! Hunter! Come on!" Jake yells from the doorway of the house, holding his head.
He hears little monsters as they stomp down the stairs, their mom not far behind them.
"We're coming!" Ginger and Edgar hop down the stairs with them, racing to the truck.
"Let's hope they fit under the seat." Lucky said as she walked pass Jake, and he smiled, saying, "Do you mean the kids or the dogs?"
Lucky rolled her eyes and laughed, pulling the kids into their seats and strapping them in.
Jack was already in the front seat, Jake would wedge himself between the twins, praying they wouldn't beat the shit out of him with the crayons that they threw on the daily.
"LACEY, HUNTER, IF I GET SMACKED WITH ONE CRAYON YOU TWO ARE GOING UNDER THE SEAT!"
Lacey and Hunter pealed off stickers from sheet, on was Peter Pan and the other was Aurora. One on either of Jakes cheeks.
"Okay. That's better than being smacked with a crayon."
But, Lacey and Hunter tossed crayons at each other.
Jake just started at them, "I will get you back if it's the last thing I doooooooo."
Lucky and Jack were laughing in the front seat, Lucky flipping through the radio stations.
She found a good song that was playing at the moment. "Broken" by lovelytheband.
She sang along, all of the commotion in the back seat stopped and everyone listened to Lucky.
The dogs were in the back of the truck, ready to go.
"England, here we come."
