"GET UP!" Came a yell followed by frantic knocking on the door. I grabbed a book from the bedside table and ran outside ready to hit someone.
"I HAVE NO FASHIONABLE BLACK CLOTHES!" Keeley yelled.
"You're kidding. I thought you were in danger!" I screeched at her, the others now emerging from their rooms.
"Sorry not sorry." She said, flipping her hair.
"We aren't being fashionable. We're being practical and trying to blend in. Girls, tie up your hair as well if you can." I sighed. I walked into the room I was meant to be in last night and opened the wardrobe, pulling out black skinny jeans, a tight black tank top with a leather jacket and some black combat boots. I put on the outfit and tucked my necklace under the top, and put my bracelet into my small black backpack. Inside my bag I also put food, water, a knife and my HoloPhone and HoloPad. I called my mom on the computer line - no answer - before sighing and grabbing everyone else. We sat around the meeting table.
"Okay, so everyone, we're in twos."
"Okay." Everyone nodded.
"I'm with Hana. Austin and Zeke. Keeley and Louis."
"What about me?" Liv asked.
"You need to carefully go back up to my place and bring down as much stuff as you can, using the computer to help, while we're out. Start with essentials - food, water, clothes, SleepPacks, tents - then grab the precious stuff, then everything else. And if you see an Antitech, leave as quickly as you can." Liv nodded, fiercely.
"I've marked out the three entrances on the map here." I showed them the map I brought up yesterday.
"Me and Hana are covering the left entrance. Zeke and Austin, right. Louis and Keeley, you're in the back."
"But what about the front?" Zeke asked.
"You really think Antitechs are going to let us through the front door?" I snapped. He shook his head.
I handed out everyone backpacks like mine with identical contents, then gave them a dart gun.
"These darts put people to sleep. But we don't know what their capes are made to withstand, so be careful." I said.
"So, what exactly is the plan?"
"Well, we meet up here." I pointed at the dead centre of the Antitech Headquarters, "here, we will get Louis and Keeley to use their tech genius to hack the computers and download all files. Also, they will leave a tracker or something on the computers so we can watch every single move they make and be alerted of bad ones. We also want to get some of their cloaks - seven, to be exact. Find out what size groups they tend to travel in, also. Free some prisoners, cloak them up, and let them leave."
"Isn't it ironic how the Antitechs use more tech than our school?" Liv giggled.
"Very much so. Come on, we have work to do." I smiled.
I tied my hair up into a tight bun before me and Hana both left the safe house together. We jumped on our hoverboards once out in the open.
"This place has been so wrecked." I whispered, looking around. Broken glass and smashed windows everywhere, doors broken down, buildings crumbling, some even on fire.
"Hey, can we visit school first? I haven't seen Chiara yet and I saw on the news they stayed at school if uninjured. I'm Chiara's sister so someone would have texted me or Zeke so she has to be there..."
"Of course, H." I smiled at her. She smiled back.
We flew to school and I put my hover board box back into my backpack, wincing as my arm had another shooting pain fly through it.
We went to the hall, where the dance was.
"Hey, Mrs V!" I hugged my principal.
"Emily! You're okay!" She grinned.
"We all are. Me, Austin, Louis, Zeke, Keeley, Hana, Liv." I smiled.
She hugged me again.
"I suppose you're here for Chiara?" She asked.
"Yep." I nodded.
"Chiara Love?" She called.
Chiara came running over to me and Hana.
"HANA! EMILY!" She screamed, hugging us. I giggled, hugging her, before Hana hugged her tightly and Chiara did the same.
"How's Zeke?" She asked, suddenly worried.
"He's fine." She reassured her. Chiara hugged her sister again.
"I can't wait to see Keels, either!" She cried with excitement.
"Chiara, you need to get back to my house. I'll call Liv so she can let you in."
"What are you guys doing?"
"Invading the Antitech Headquarters." I said.
She laughed.
"Wait, you aren't joking?"
"Nope." Hana said.
"Well be careful, please. I love you both too much." She smiled. I waved her goodbye, and she leaped onto a hover board and flew to mine. Me and Hana did the same but flew in the opposite direction.
"We need to land now, and try and blend in." Hana nodded. We ran to the left entrance quickly and quietly. No one was there.
I opened my bag and attached the knife to my belt. Hana did the same. I pushed the door open, to reveal a long white hallway, filled with people - not wearing cloaks!
A man came running over to us.
"How did you get out without your cloaks on? Jeepers, girls, you got lucky."
"We just left through this door." I said, closing it behind me.
"Wow. I'm surprised Krisna wasn't watching it."
"Yeah..." I trailed off.
"Bye. And wear your cloaks next time." Sighed the man, walking off.
"Bye!" Hana cried.
"Hana! What if Krisna is..."
"No. It won't be."
"But... it could be. What if it is her?"
"Krisna is dead. How can she now be here?"
"You're right. Come on, we have to go meet the others."
We walked calmly though the hallways until we found the middle, and casually leaned against a wall. Soon enough, Louis and Keeley were with us, munching on some kind of chocolate bar - they brought us some too - and Zeke and Austin came over.
"I found Chiara, Zeke."
"You did?! Thank God." He said.
"Come on. We have business." Austin snapped.
"Keeley and Louis, go with Austin and Zeke to the computer room. Austin and Zeke guard them. Me and Hana are going to find cloaks, free prisoners and try and find out who the head of the Antitechs really is."
Hana looked at me as if I was crazy, "you don't seriously still think it's her?"
"No. I don't. But now I'm curious." I snapped back.
"Be safe." Austin whispered in my ear.
"You too." I whispered back. He kissed my cheek all too briefly before following the others down a hallway labelled "TECH ROOM AND CAFETERIA 1." Me and Hana followed another hallway which was labelled "DORMS AND CAFETERIA 2."
Me and Hana went to the very end of the dorms to find a desk with two people behind it, one of which I recognised.
"Is that... Cara?!"
