(This was my first ever poem, and is kind of depressing, you have been warned)
They say dreams are a comfort, a break from reality. True this is, yet not true at all.
Dreams are not comforts, they are only disappointments. Dreams tell you what you want, and when you wake up and realize it's not true, you feel sad of what is not there.
Dreams make you chase impossible things, make you set high expectations only to be let down. Yet they can also make you chase possible things, and inspire you to do more.
Sure nightmares are scary, yes that is true. At least nightmares don't disappoint you. They show what you fear, so you can face it.
But nightmares are also what make us afraid to sleep,make us look behind our back every second. Make us stay up really late.
One thing is true, dreams and nightmares are both a curse and a blessing.

No, that's not what I actually think. I just had a idea and that turned into a poem. If this gets at least 5 views I'll upload the draft......it's even more depressing then this. I swear, when my mom read it she was like,"It's so depressing!" And this, the final draft, is where I tried to make it less depressing. It kind of worked XD.
