"Pyrrha." The sound of Jaune's distressed voice echoes through the mostly empty house.

'He must be having a nightmare.' I took another swig of whiskey as my mind tried to tune out Jaune's mellow dramatic cries.

My ears picked up on someone walking down the stairs behind me. I slouched down further into the chair I was sitting on, hoping that Jaune wouldn't notice me.

I feel pretty awful for trying to ignore him but, I'm just not good at this heart to heart talks and I never will be.

Jaune's drowsy stride could be heard as he rummaged through the kitchen. June's half asleep body plummeted onto the couch in front of me. Since there were no lights on in the house Jaune couldn't see me but, I could see him crystal clear in the darksome living room.

Faunus can see in the dark and so can I. Humans can feel for others and so should I. Grimm can do vicious and immoral things and someday, so will I.

I felt pretty comfortable and relaxed about this situation. Well, that is until Jaune had a strawberry sundae in his stubby hands. Out of all the things he could have used for comfort food, he had to get my strawberry sundae!

I tried to control my breathing as he only took baby scoops of the wonderful dessert. My legs were crossed and my fingers dug into the chair's armrests as not to rip Jaune's head off for stealing my sweet. I forced my mind to wander off somewhere else, just to hold back the urge to plug his torso with bullet holes. But the only comforting thought I Imagined was Jaune getting a brain freeze and crying like a girl about it.

Back to plan A to get my mind off of sadistic torture methods.

"Had a nightmare?" My voice came out as stoic. It was a contrast to Jaune's startled,"Agh!"

Jaune coughed to readjust the squeak in his voice. "I mean yeah."

I took a long inhale"Ugh..." Exhale. "You want to talk about it?"

"I do. But, I just don't know where to begin." Of course, he had to make this harder.

Might as well go for the kill. "I heard you yelling 'Pyrrha' in your sleep." Jaune's gaze went to the ground. "Sorry I was loud." Jaune avoided the question.

Even though I started to grit my teeth, I said: "I'm a night owl, so don't worry."

"So you're an owl Faunus?" My forehead was slapped by my own hand as Jaune said that.

I towered over Jaune as my body turned into the image of a Grimm. "I'm half Grimm, half human. So if you don't want to talk about it." I chuckled as I saw Jaune's face go pale when he saw my silhouetted figure. "... I think I'll harvest on your negative feelings."

Jaune screamed out his lungs as I dragged him outside. He yelled so much he fainted from a lack of oxygen.

Jaune woke up from a 30-minute power nap... He'll need it. As he woke up he slowly started to process what situation he was in. Scared, in the dark, and alone in the forest of Fortuna. Well, seemingly alone.

The growls of Beowulf Grimm surrounded Jaune as he was defenseless and shivering.

As the Grimm closed in on Jaune, I threw my sword right beside his body as red lightning trailed behind my father's sword.

Confidence was shown through Jaune's facial expression as he wielded my father's sword to defend himself. Jaune at first was a cornered animal defending himself, then a mighty warrior slaughtering a herd of a helpless yet evil herd of monsters for hours on end.
