As children, We always made up silly things that would later become pratically impossible when we grew older to the age we are now. Such things as living to 100 , the sun being yellow, a family being a mother father daughter and son. None of these of which always occure these days or ever. Which is a bit like my life.
I'm Julia. Julia Western. My age is 17 years old and my location , 15 Newport avenue Southport. Currently , im living with my "Fake Parents". My real parents before my first birthday decided that having a daughter at the age of 18 was a bad idea so gave me up for adaption. My foster family on the other hand, arent that smart. Ive never been treated as an equal to my other siblings. I feel asthough im in the Harry Potter complex. Although i may not live in a cupboard or talk to snakes, I'm just not human in my foster families eyes.
My brother , Shaun , hes 19. When my current family adapted me he dissagreed to the decision. Although he may have only been 2 he stuck by his word all these years. All my family for that matter my mother father brother and younger brother have never really agreed to the decision that adapting me was a good idea. I knew this because several times my birthday was not celebrated. Until my 13th birthday i didnt know that i had a birthday? I just thought that everybody else had a special day because they had behaved well. This made me work harder to fit in which seemed to make matters worse.
When i was 14 they left me alone in the house. Id never been left alone before so ever little noise, smell, touch made me concious of danger. I sat on the livingroom floor as the chairs were off limits to me, when i was flung back by the gust of wind made by the sudden opening of the front door. I hid behind the armchair, rubbing the back of my head which had just made hard contact with the wall. A figure immurged from the foggy landscape outside, and made his way forth into the household. His moody steeltoe capped boots leaving trails from the front door to the kitchen. He didnt see me at this point, so i made run for it upstairs.
The intruder saw me at the last second. He quickly pivoted around heading my way which made me loose balance and track of where i was heading. His huge , worked , crincled hands grabbed the back of my dress which holted me. By now he was close enough to me , and put his arm around my neck. His face slowing spinning against mine to eventually look me in the eye. His stubble from his chin and upper lip made me twitch my face away which made him think i was trying to escape. For a second i felt a loosening so took as many breaths as i could. Shortly after, the intensity was back with both arms slowly grasping around me. I heard a sharp , pinging sound which made me concious of his next move. I closed my eyes.
As my eyes re-opened, they locked on to the blade which was slowly but certainly heading my way. It wasent heading for my face. It was heading for my neck. I thought it was going to be quick. But no. He turned the blade sideways and slid it across my neck making two slice marks either side. I showed no mercy as if i did he would gain a tighter grip of my neck which would slowly release more blood. I could think of nothing but one thing to do. Bite. I began biting his hand arm and face until his grasp became no more. I stumbled away slightly giving me the perfect position to kick him down the stairs eventually hiting his head on the corner cabinet.
He died instantly. From that day i vowed that i would learn to protect myself. So i joined an army like course. It helps you to fend for yourself but also to prepar you for army life. So soon, when im in the army, i can use the money i earn to move into a little place ive been looking at for some time. In Chelsea. One of my close friend lives there, and most of my courses take place there. So soon , a couple of days infact, ill be out of this hell hole. Wish me luck...
