Chapter 9

Maddy's P.O.V

I can't believe him. Here's what happened:

Haley was getting her books when Ross and Annie? I can't believe the new girl would go with Ross. And Ross lets her do this. They kissed like no one was there and I saw Haley running to the bathroom.

"Haley, you don't deserve him. If he doesn't show love to you, he doesn't know how amazing you are", I smiled.

"Thanks Maddy, you're the best", she replied with a hug. I hugged back.

This is just like my breakup with Jason, two years ago, he started flirting with another girl.

I walked out the bathroom to give Haley some time alone. Ross suddenly ran up to me.

"Hey have you seen Haley, I need to talk to her", he asked.

"Why? To break her heart even more", I replied annoyed.

"Look I just-"

"Save it blonde. She's done with you", I walked away and Ross grabbed my arm.

"Can you just listen to me?", he asked.

"Ugh fine", I replied, still annoyed.

"I was looking for Haley and Annie came up to me and kissed me. I pushed her against the locker to get her off of me but I didn't know Haley was there so I pulled Annie to the floor and ran to find Haley. I wasn't cheating on her", he explained.

"How would I know that this is the truth?", I asked.

"A student here recorded this whole thing", he show me a phone and played a video. It was exactly like his explanation.

"Wow, that is true", I replied. A random girl came up to Ross. "Thanks Justice", he handed Justice her phone.

"Justice, can you send me that video, please?", I asked politely. "Sure", a minute later I got the video.

"Thank you", I thanked. "Anytime", she walked away.

"I'll show this to Haley ", I walked to the girl's bathroom.

Haley was washing her face when I entered.

"Hey, look Ross wasn't cheating on you", I explained.

"Nah, he likes kissing random girls in the school when he has a girlfriend", she replied annoyed.

"Just look at this video", I held up the phone and showed her the video.

"Oh god, Annie kissed him", I replied.

Annie walked in. "Howdy y'all", she greeted.

"Go away, Annie", I muttered. "What did I do?", she asked.

"You purposely kissed my boyfriend in front of me!", Haley yelled at her.

"No I didn't, I was kissing Ross", she replied.

"Ross is her boyfriend", I answered annoyed.

"Brittany told me he was single and forced me to make out with him", she explained.

"How would we believe you?", I asked.

"Brittany wanted me to have a boyfriend and suggested Ross. She threatened me if I don't make out with him, she'll make my life horrible", she sighed sadly.

"Annie, I-I'm so sorry. I had no idea", Haley apologized.

"Nah it's alright. I have trust issues too", she smiled.

They both hugged which made me smile.

"I'm done with Brittany. She's getting y'all", she noted.

"We're aware of that", I replied.

"While at are lunch break, lets go get fro-yo", I suggested.

"Sure", Annie and Haley said in an unison.

We walked out of the bathroom where Ross was waiting.

"Haley I-"

"Ross, don't apologized. My new friend, Annie told me the whole story", She looked at her and smiled.

"So, are we cool?", he asked.

"We're cool", Haley smiled and hugged him. He hugged back. I smiled at Annie and she smiled back.

"Wanna get fro-yo with us?", I asked Ross.

"Sure", he replied and Haley and Ross held hands and we all walked out the school door.

Once we were all outside, we saw Brittany making out with a hot guy name Justin.

She ran to Annie. "Hey bestie, wanna hang with my new boyfriend. He is so fun", she send Justin a kiss and he winked.

"Nope. I'm done with you Brittany Boston", she smirked we all walked to Ross' car.

Through the car window, I could see Brittany gasped and grabbed Justin and walked inside.

We all laughed and drove to a near fro-yo place.
