*Clarke's POV*
As I wake up, I feel the wind brush over my face, with a shiver I proceed to jump out of the rover onto the ground- at least whats left of it - I let out a frown, realizing its been 2,199 days and still no sign of Bellamy, or my friends. After that moment I push myself back into reality, and continue to walk over to the river. Once I arrive, I take a deep breath and grab the radio out of my bag. I look at the sky hoping to see a rocket storm into earth.
Still having my eyes focused on the sky, I start to speak into the radio.
''It's been so long, sometimes I feel like I might be going crazy. I miss you, I miss all of you. I keep coming back to this radio hoping for a response, I guess this is my way of staying sane. Anywa-"
The radio starts to shift to different channels creating a muffling sound. I scream In anger and throw the radio causing it to fall in the water.
"Damn it!" I let out a cry.
Even if it was just a radio, it was my only way to talk to him, the only thing keeping me sane. Even though in my heart I knew they never heard me, I still liked to think they could.
I layed on my knees trying to hold in a waterfall of tears, at this point I broke. All my pain from the last six years started to pour out.
*BOOM*
My face freezes- tears still falling down my face and onto my hands - I look up to the sky to see a rocket breaking the force between space and earth. My face becomes shoocked, emotions start flooding in.
"Oh- oh my god." I let a whisper escape my lips. I start to ask myself questions in my mind, Is that them? Is that Bellamy? Are they home?
With all these unanswered questions, realization hits. And I ask myself in a whisper "I thought the rocket was smaller..."
With an uneasy expression on my face I start to sprint back to the rover. When I arrive back I immediately grab my rifle. As the rocket lands I notice labels on the side that read Prison Containment.
"Prison Containment?" I question under my breath.
With my heart almost pumping out of my chest, I set up a watch point about 80 feet away from the rocket. Looking through the scope of my gun, I start to see the dropship door open. My brain starts to overflow with thoughts until I hear two very faint voices.
"Have you seen any-" the man's voice slightly fades and I'm unable to hear the rest.
"No sir." another man says louder.
Right after I start thinking of ways to approach these men. I remember I have my rifle. If worst comes to worst and we can't work it out, I'll kill them myself. With that thought in my head I start to move forward.
When I'm about half way down the hill, I see both their heads turn towards me. They both lift their guns, and I do the same. Before I even had time to say a word, a shot was fired.
*BANG*
I scream in agony, both of the men let out a laugh while jogging towards me. I look down to see my leg bleeding and realize this wasn't an ordinary bullet- it was a tranquilizer bullet - with both men still jogging towards me, I try to run. But then everything starts to look fuzzy and with every movement I start to feel heavier and heavier.
Then all I see is black.
*TO BE CONTINUED*
