Just as we started walking Mrs Johnson decided pop out from hiding in her office " You two freeze right there! Anyone care to tell me who ate the ice cream cake yesterday". Groaned Mrs Johnson. Yeah sure we did and we also put a surprise in your room. " Ptss not us we have an alibi"Said the confident yet mysterious Jasmine". "We do"I Whispered in confusion. "Yes now stay focused". Mrs Johnson titled her head and scrunched her eyebrows. "What are you two whispering about" said that sneaky little Johnson. "Um....well..." As I thought of an excuse I swallowed hard and said " you know that new boy that just arrived yesterday?" Mrs Johnson nodded. " I kinda think he's cute and um... Jasmine here told me I should ask him out". I said ."ok but that's besides my point. What was you two doing then"said the suspiciously older women. I looked at Jasmine with pleading eye giving her a signal that I'm all out of excuses. " We was talking about how we arrived and how's tomorrow our friendaversary. 13 years of friendship I love you Olivia". Just then Jasmine pulls me in for a hug. After that she rests her arm around my neck and and tell me to smile so I titled my head and gave Mrs Johnson a persuading grin. Just as we were about to go back to our dorm Mrs Johnson blurted out " You have an interview tomorrow first thing in the morning now go get some sleep." After a while of thinking Jasmine come to my twin bed and lays down besides me grabs my hand and says "Hey, I think you should go for it " "Go for what" " The interview I know it will be hard but I don't want to be the reason why you never got your family. You know the reason why you don't have a background story to tell your future kids when they grow up." I sat up looking into her eye I seened something I never seened in her before, her eyes gleamed with pity! " I can't you said it yourself tomorrow is 13 years of friendship that would never end once I get this who know what would happen to us." I said. " We could never stop being friends this bond is strong we grew up together". She is right but it felt wrong, it might be easier for her to get over it but I can't. After we hugged she lays down on my shoulder and we both doze off sleeping.
"Ptss Olivia wake up". Whispered Mrs Johnson . "Mrs Johnson it's nearly 6:00 why do I have to wake up so early". I said halfway asleep. "Because your interview starts in one hour go take a shower." After my hot shower I put on the ridiculously gorgeous dress Mrs Johnson pick out and went down stairs to meet the couple. As I entered the interview room there was a guy with the most gorgeous pair of eyes I ever seened. His face was strong like and he had a buzz cut but the shade of his hair was a light shade of brown. He was dressed in a business Shirt and pants staring right at me.
I walked and sat down on the other side table looking at his eye. "Wow.... You have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seened" oops did I say that out loud. "I mean.... Hi I'm Olivia" I said embarrassedly. "Why thank you I'm Adam pleasure meeting you" he said while giggling. "Pleasure all mines". Then that's when reality hit me if this guy like me he might want to adopt me. "Look here's the deal!" He arched his eyebrows and leaned forward as if he was interested in what I was about to say. "I know you are looking for a family I am to but I'm not ready leave this place. Tomorrow is my 13 year friendaversary and I can't leave her. Me and her are inseparable don't believe me ask Mrs Johnson". He looked at me but as he was about to speak Mrs Johnson cut him off. " At about this moment Jasmine isn't important. What she told you yesterday is true and listen to her" my eyes widen as I heard what she said. What Jasmine said she was eavesdropping on us. So I stood up glared at her and said " You was eavesdropping on us that was a sacred moment". "No no it wasn......" " I don't care what it was you passed the border line." Before Adam could say anymore I stomped out the room with Mrs Johnson running behind me calling my name . "Olivia.... Olivia stop" She grabs my arm and glared at me." Stop this nonsense and finish your interview."she said all in one breath. "NO. I feel like you find this amusing right? Trying to separate me and Jasmine well it's never happening. I love that girl to much just to leave her here for some stupid family I don't want without her." As I told Mrs Johnson that Adam came out looking shocked. Then I walked away. I went to the room for some fresh air. But for the past hour I couldn't stop thinking about what Jasmine said to me. "Hey troll, whatcha up to" said a familiar voice. "Nothing much just came back from my interview". I replied. I couldn't like and Jasmine know that. "I feel like there more to that response" she said while sitting next to me. As I explained I how felt to her I started crying she then pulled me in for a hug and told me "hey I know it's ok we're in this together nobody's could ever take your spot....it's us against the world". "Promise" I said wiping off my tears. "I promise anyway I'm hungry let's go get breakfast" she said hugging me. " Ptss your always hungry I love you"I said giggling. "Hey! I love you too but they don't call breakfast the Most important meal of the day for no reason "she said as we walked down the stairs
