My "Simple" Life.

Chapter 9

Jennifer's point of view

I started to wake up after that AMAZING night with Marc. I still can't believe we actually did it after 2 and a half years. Even in my wildest dreams I never thought it would be that good.

I opened up my eyes and I saw Marc wasn't there. I thought he is probably downstairs with the kids making their breakfast. I took one of Marc's shirts and I went downstairs.

I saw the kids in the yard and Marc was watching Tv.
I say next to Marc and hugged him. He gave me a little kiss on my forehead,I smiled at him but he didn't smile at me back he just moved his head away from me.

I had no idea why he's acting like that but I didn't say anything to him. I went outside to the kids and said good morning,they were playing so cute together,so I just ran to them and gave them a tons of kisses and hugs!

We found ourselves lying on the grass laughing our hearts out,god I love them so much!

Marc went outside and said that breakfast is ready,we went back to the kitchen,we has pancakes with bacon and eggs,
It was delicious!

I thanked Marc you the great breakfast and went help him with the dishes.

The kids weren't there with us so I asked Marc why was he so weird to me earlier?

I could tell something was wrong.
He kept denying it but I kept on asking him.

Suddenly he started to yell at me:"the police was here,they found another evidence that shows I'm the lead suspect and they told me to be at their station In exact 30 minutes,they said if I won't be there they will come and get arrest me."

I was in shock!
No it can't happen,not right now!
Immediately I called to my lawyer and explained him the whole story,I asked him what is Marc's best shot to get out of this situation.
He said that right now there's nothing he can do and Marc needs to go to the police station for now just like they told him.

I told Marc what my lawyer said and he nodded.

I ask him if that's ok that I will come with him so maybe he will feel a little bit more comfortable with my by his side.

His eyes sparkled and I saw he was pleased with that idea.

I hugged him tight.

We told amber ( the nany) to come and watch for the kids while we are going to the police station.

We walked into the car and we were quite. We both were nervous about what will happen to Marc and what they are gonna do to him...

We arrived to the station and as we walked out of the car,
Tons of eyes were point at us.

I felt really embarrassed that they were watching every step of us.

It was also the first time ever since our breakup that I was with Marc in public. So you can imagine how surprised everybody was.

We went to the lobby and this policeman caught Marc in his hand and took him to another room.
After 10 minutes I saw that Marc is handcuffed and the same policeman took him to another place but just when I tried to follow their Leads
I felt a hand on my shoulder.

I turned around and I saw that...
