The boy ran as fast as he could down the alleyway, the city burning bright right behind him. He had to get back to the place where he called home. He had to get back to the others, the ones that he would call his family. The male ran down the highway- jumping over any obstacle that was in his way; and that's when he saw her. She was beautiful and delicate, covered in jewels and other crystals that were sparkling in the moonlight. It was her. The angel that they needed to take down the vicious and wretched monster. Genevieve.

The male stood in awe, staring at the goddess that they had been searching for during the entire length of their journey. He approached her with a bow, "Your highness, I want to thank you for deeming me worthy of your presence." They were then teleported into a palace, it was gorgeous and made of ice.

"Stand. You are not the only one who should feel honored, for I am honored to have you before me." The woman smiled a gentle and sweet smile, one that would taste of snowflakes and peppermint if one was worthy enough to plant a kiss upon her lips. She approached the male as he stood and traced her fingers across his cheek, smiling as she felt his warm skin against her frosted fingers, "I am delighted to see you. I must offer you a gift of my gratitude." With a snap of her fingers, a frosted rosebud appeared out of her throne, snaking its way toward her. Before their very eyes, the rosebud began to blossom- its vines growing taller as they wrapped themselves around the stem, the leaves fanning out to reveal a beautiful tinted rose. The rose almost seemed frosted, as if the petals were formed out of glass snowflakes. Inside of the rose was a serum that poured out of the gaps of the petals, a deep and royal blue.

The male looked astonished, he had never seen such a thing like this before. He stood as he studied the flower, pondering about its existence and what was in the contents of the royal blue liquid. His thoughts were quickly postponed as vines wrapped around his arm, snaking its way to his hand before forming a chalice in his hands- one made out of the same material as the rose. He held it before looking at it, studying it as well. The goddess then held the rose over the chalice, the royal liquid creating a waterfall into the fancy cup, "drink it," she said.

He did as he was told and brought the chalice to his lips, taking a few sips of the liquid. It did not taste as royal as it looked, it was disgusting and horrid- tasting of sewer and honey. With a smile on her face, the goddess began to caress his cheek before leaning in for a kiss. She pressed her lips against his and brought him close, holding him to her body. The boy had no idea what had happened to him, but all he knew was that he was doing this for his team. He couldn't let them down. As his body became limp, he began to think about all that he had done for his team and how this was the final step before the battle. He died for them. The woman smiled as his body became limp and then tossed him on the ground, waiting for him to die.

Just then, Aurora entered the Palace as she lunged herself at Genevieve. She took her long sword and sliced the goddess' chest, killing her instantly.

"What? That is not fair! What about the other heroes?!" Hunter exclaimed, "Shouldn't they be able to fight as well?" The dark-skinned girl huffed and rolled her eyes.

"Does he just die- right there? Like the only thing he was there for was sex appeal?" Ollie groaned and looked at Aurora, "I don't want it that way. Besides, Hunter is right- that was barely a fight!" He flopped back onto his bed and groaned.

"Well, I just really wanted to stop so I finished the story... guess I'm not good enough for you." Aurora playfully teases the two.

"Well I say we head to sleep, I'm tired and I just don't care. I mean, look at Blake over there, she's already passed out." Melody said as she yawned, cuddling her stuffed animal up to her chest.

The others all agreed and began to make themselves comfortable in their gravity defying beds- each organized by age of the members: Hunter, Blake, Ollie, Aurora and finally Melody. The beds were in the air, shaped as little pods that would adjust themselves to make sleep more comfortable for these teens. The room itself was circular and made so the teens could see each other at all times. As the teens slept peacefully in their beds, another adventure awaited their arrival- trouble was stirring in the town of Astarline.
