“W-What?” I practically screamed at Jin. “Jin she is not your mate!”

“Shut up.” Jin growled back as she extended her sharp white fangs in my direction.

“Mom.” I said to the angry woman beside me. “Why is Jin acting like this? It’s not true. Hell it can’t be true. Jin would have already known at sch-”

“She’s under a spell Jess.” She answered trough gritted teeth. “She’s not Jin’s mate, but she has Jin thinking she is.”

“Well Jade.” Rita smiled. “It seems like nothing can get by you now can it-”

“I see the Purple eyes Ritana!” Mom snapped. “I am Fifty years your senior. These little tricks are much too obvious to miss. I know you used a ‘Love bound’ spell.”

“Well Duh.” Rita replied in a matter of factly tone. “You won’t hurt me knowing I have her in a ‘bound spell’ right? Besides I just came here to talk.”

“Oh baby sis. If you think I’m falling for that crap,” Mom started as green sparks engulfed on her body. “Your so in denial.”

“Momma!” I screamed as I opened my arms to block her path. “Don’t Mom.” If I let her used her lightening against Rita, Jin would surely get hurt or worse.

Let me explain. The thing about a bound spell, which I didn’t know it was earlier, is that the person who cast the spell has bound themselves physically and mentally to another. So if that one gets punched the other will get the pain. In other words, we can’t hurt Rita, without hurting Jin, literally. And a ‘Love bound’ is our freaking double whammy, because the host is very protective of the person who cast the spell upon them, and being a werewolf and all the protectiveness is danger times ten for us. In a way it really is almost like she’s Jin’s mate… Almost.

“Wait a second.” Rita said as my mom calmed down enough to let her sparks disappear. “Where is that other boy? Wasn’t he supposed to be with you?” she asked me suspiciously.
