McGonagall's POV

I settled into my chair in the head's office for the night as I had some paper work to complete and do a last minute check that everybody's schedule was done.

A knock on the door pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Come in." I said.

The door opened and the Minister for Magic walked in.

"You're not going to like this." He started.

"Take a seat Minister."

He sat down in the red armchair in front of the desk and I gestured for him to continue to speak.

"There has been a new law that has been passed. All witches and wizards ages 17 to 25 must get married and help repopulate the wizarding world in a space of 3 years, as it has faced a major threat of extinction due to the war." Kingsley explained.

"What?! You are going to make children get married and have their own children this young?! CHILDREN!" McGonagall ranted.

"Minerva, calm down there is nothing I can do about this."

McGonagall sighed and decided to head to bed so she could process this properly.

"Show yourself out Minister."

She left the room swiftly thinking about how to break the news to the students tomorrow.

She lay down and her last thought was Albus, help me.
