The Twins

Petra coughed, feeling water pour out of her mouth, she opened her eyes, feeling the aching pain on her head. She felt pebbles beneath her, her back hooves were dangling as the river flowed. She was all soaked from the water. She looked around to see that she was in a forest. She tried to stand up but as soon as she did, she fell limply. She did it again but this time she stood still, pain beating in her legs. She took one step, one hoof after the other, she limped into the woods. She sat down, there was a bark at the distance, then a couple of murmurs. "What is it, Fang??? " There was a rustle in a bush nearby. Petra glanced at it, fear beating in her heart. A light blue unicorn colt came out, followed by a unicorn filly with the same coat, and a large gray wolf with a light gray patch on its eye and a fang coming out of its jaw. The light blue unicorn colt looked at Petra questionably. "Where did you come from??? Why is there a cloth wrapped around one of your hooves??? Why are you all wet???" The colt asked. "Uhh, I don't know???" Petra replied. "Are you a seapony then??? Our parents told us stories about them but we didn't know they'd exist" The light blue filly said. Petra shook her head. "Oh, ok, what's your name???" The light blue unicorn colt asked. "How many more questions will they ask???!!! This is getting annoying!!!".  "My name is Petra" She replied. "I'm Jesse, and this is my sister Jessica, and our pet wolf Fang," The light blue unicorn said. "And were twins" Jessica added. "I guess you can say that..." Petra muttered. "You wanna come with us, we can hang out or something," Jessica said. There was a moment of silence. "Maybe I should go with them, I don't know where to go and it's not safe here...". Petra nodded. "Yay!!!" The twins said at the same time, hopping around, Fang started joining them. "Follow us, we'll take you to our house," Jesse said as they finished. Jesse started leading them through the bush. "Do you even know which way to go???" Petra asked. "Sure do, and if we ever get lost, Fang will show us the way, did I mention that he's vegetarian??? He wouldn't even eat a bug," Jesse said. "Oh yeah, remember that time he saved a rabbit from being caught by a hawk???" Jessica looked at him. Jesse nodded excitedly. "Oh, and that fox, I say that dad must have done a really good job training him" Jesse added. Petra sighed in annoyance. She noticed a beautiful house ahead, there was a stream by it that probably leads to the shore she's been washed off too. The twins and Fangs started running toward it, Petra caught up. "Hey Petra, did you play games where you came from??? It's fine if you can't remember" Jessica said. "Play??? I've never heard of that word before," Petra replied. "Your kidding??? Right???" Jessica asked. Petra shook her head. "Um... Ok... I'll tell you what it means, playing is something that involves fun, I think your head probably got hit by a rock or something" Jessica said. Petra tilted her head in confusion. "How about this, let's become friends," Jesse said. "Friends???" Petra asked. "You don't know what it means either..." Jesse sighed. "No, I know hat friends are, I just... I never had one before..." Petra replied. The twins exchanged glances then looked back at her. "So you wanna be friends???" Jessica asked. There was a moment of silence. "I want to see what friends are like, I should give them a chance..." Petra nodded. Both of the twins grinned excitedly at each other then started hopping around her. Once they stopped they faced her. "Let's play Three Musketeers!!!" Jesse exclaimed. Jessica nodded in agreement. "What's that???" Petra asked. "Is a game where we are the Three Musketeers, who have to defeat a grizzly bear, but not a real one if your wondering" Jessica replied. "I'll go and get the sticks," Jesse said. He started running into the woods with Fang. A moment later, Jesse came back with a pile of long sticks. "Pick one," Jesse said. Jessica and Petra walked toward the pile. They each picked one. Jesse raised his into the air. "This is where we raise the stick with him, to tell us that were ready," Jessica said. Petra nodded. Jessica raised her stick into the air, next to Jesse's. Petra looked at her stick, holding tightly, then raised it into the air.

They were running around until Petra crashed into an apple tree right next to the house, bumping her head. "Ow," A peep came out of her. She started rubbing her head as it was aching. Jesse walked toward her, examining her forehead. "Maybe we can use the cloth that's wrapped around your back hoof," Jesse said. "What cloth???" Petra glanced at one of her back hooves and noticed a cloth was wrapped around one of them. "I've never noticed that before" Petra unwrapped it then gave it to Jesse. Jessica and Fang sat beside them while Jesse began to wrap the dark blue cloth around her head. "This is actually a cloth for a bandana," Jesse said. "What's that???" Petra asked. "It's like a hat but all you need is just a cloth like this one, it's a little too big but I think it will be good to cover your head up" Jesse replied. There was a moment of silence. As soon as Jesse finished, a voice called out to them. "Kids, who is that???" They all turned to the voice. Two ponies were at the front of the door of the house. They were both unicorns, one of them was a stallion with a brown mane and tail and had almost the same coat as the twins, while the other pony was a light green mare with an orange mane and tail and had the same eyes as the twins, and Petra knew, they are both looking at her curiously.
