"Mom please don't make me. I haven't seen dad in years. I promise I will do anything you want just don't make me go." I beg my mom. She is trying to send me to live with my father in North Carolina.
'Honey, you know I love you but with work and everything I have gong on you will be home alone so much. I don't want you to be by yourself. plus this will be good for you. Your father and brothers miss you." She tries to get me to actually want to go.
"There is no getting out of this is there?" I whine as she shakes her head.
"You leave tomorrow morning. Honey it will be good for you, and it's only an hour away. We can visit and everything. Just trust me. Please." She explains and I nod.
"I'm gonna go pack and get ready for bed then. Goodnight." I hug her and walk upstairs to my room.
So apparently when my mom was pregnant with me, My dad had an affair and got another girl pregnant. He left my mom and Married the other girl. They stayed together for a while and had another baby 3 years later. Then they got divorced also. So to sum up what is about to happen, I am about to go live with my dad who I haven't seen In forever, And my 2 brothers who I have never actualy met. Oh joy!
-the next day-
"Sarah! Your dad is here. Come on!" My mom screams from the bottom of the steps.
"Coming." I say as I take one last look at my room that I probably won't see for a while and walk downstairs, a suitcase in each hand and another bag hanging around my shoulder. My dads eyes light up when he see's me.
"Sarah!" He ran and hugged me.
"Hey dad." I smile. "Where are my brothers?"
"Oh they're at the house. you will meet them when we get there." He explains and i nod. He helps me with my bags.
"I'm going to take these to the car. come on out when you're ready hun!" He smiles and walks out.
"Bye sweetie. I love you." My mom says. You can tell she's holding back tears.
"No you don't." I joke. "But I love you too mom. Please call and text everyday." She nods and hugs me.
"Bye see ya later." I wave and make my way to my dads very nice I might say, car.
The whole car ride me and dad caught up and joked around. I will admit I missed my dad a lot.
"Well we're here. Just be yourself around the boys. They will love you." He reassures me and I nod.
"We will come back put for your stuff after you get in and meet everyone." He smiles and leads me up the long driveway and to the front door.
"Nash! Hayes!" My dad screams through the huge house.
"In here." A voice calls from another room. We make our way to the room to see 5 boys playing xbox.
"What's up Mr. Grier- woah theres a girl with you!" One says and I laugh and wave.
"No dip that's my sister." Another one says. "Sorry that's Cameron and I'm Nash, your brother." he smiles at me and puts his hand out for me to shake. I'm guessing he's the one thats my age.
''I'm Sarah." I smile.
"Hey I'm cameron!" The one boy says and I laugh.
"Hi!" I wave.
"This is hayes. He's your other brother." Nash says and points to another boy who looks about 14 who is waving at me.
"Hi hayes!"
"Well Sarah, I'm gonna go get the rest of your stuff out of the car. Have fun!" My dad says and walks out of the room.
"I'm Carter and this is Matt." Another boy Introduced himself and Matt. I smile at them and wave.
"So do you like Call of duty/" Carter asked holding up a controler.
"Uh duh! You guys are on!" I smirked.
after 45 miutes, I had won against everyone in the group.
"How?" Cameron asked with a look of awe on his face. I smirked and cracked my knuckles.
"Well, I Play xbox at my moms house a lot. You could say I've had a lot of practice." I joked. They all laughed.
"Hey guys will one of you show Sarah to her room while I make dinner?" Dad screamed from the kitchen.
"I will!" Cameron stood up.
"Haha no you won't." Nash put his arm out so Cameron fell back onto the couch. "I will show you to your room. Flollow me." Nash said as he playfully glared at Matt, Carter, And especially Cameron. I nodded and followed him down a long hallway and up the stairs.
"Well here it is."
I gasp. My room is huge. Just like the rest of the rooms in the house but wow.
"Look Sarah I want you to know that just because you just got here doesn't mean you aren't part of the family. We already feel like you are and you fit in great. Just remember to always be yourself okay?" He says as he put a hand on my shoulder and smiles at me. I didn't expect the boys to be this nice.
"Well dinners in 20 minutes, you can unpack and stuff if you want. We'll be downstairs. Oh and do you wanna hang out and go to starbucks with me, Cameron, Carter, Matt, Hayes, and a couple of my other friends tomorrow/" He asked and I smiled.
"Sure." He nodded and left. I began to unpack my things starting with all my clothes and toiletried.
hm. maybe living here won't be too bad. I smiled at myself while putting clothes into their drawers.
