"Miss? Your breakfast is prepared and waiting on the tray for you, along with today's schedule."

Ah. Breakfast and my schedule. This is the same sentence that I wake up to every morning. The food, the schedule, and the maid all vary. However, the sentence always stays the same.

I stand up and make my way to my double door, slipping on my robe bore opening them. I smile at my favorite maid, Elliot. She has been employed in the palace for longer than I have been alive. She practically raised me beside my parents. "Thank you, Miss Elliot. And good morning!" I chime happily.

She nods towards the tray outside my door. "Today for breakfast we have..." Elliot lifts the cover dramatically and points to each dish as she speaks. "Eggs Benedict, porridge, and a side of white rice with toasted tofu."

"Yes! My favorite! It's not even my birthday... is something special happening today?" I ask incredulously.

Elliot looks down at her shoes. "Yes, Miss. Today, the suitors are coming to begin their stay at the palace to court Miss Anna." She looks back up, giving me a sympathetic expression. "As you know, she cannot take the throne without a husband."

I nod sadly. "Yes, I remember." I take a sip of my water from the tray and shake my head, ridding myself of pity for my situation. "I'm proud of her. She can find a loving husband and make a life for herself while running he country we all love dearly." I force a smile and nod at Miss Elliot. "Anyway, thank you again for breakfast, I will be eating on the balcony today. If you will, please take the tray out there while I get dressed."

I get dressed into my favorite yellow dress

I get dressed into my favorite yellow dress. It's a sunny day outside, and I need to feign happiness, so I figured yellow would be the best color to go with. This dress also happens to be the least modest piece of clothing that I own. My father requires that I dress in elegant, yet modest, clothing. Even if this dress is modest to most people, to me- it's as if I'm not wearing anything. This dress makes me feel like I'm a normal girl, not a royal.

When I finished fixing my dress and may hair, I walk out to my balcony and take a seat. Finally, I can eat and listen to music in piece. I take out my computer and put on Chopin's Nocturne Op 9 Number 2. This song is so calming and relaxing, I just wish that I knew how to play piano so I could play it for myself.

Half-way through my breakfast, I had listened to the rest of the song and two others when I noticed a limousine pulling up in front of the palace. I stand up and look over the edge of the balcony to see who has arrived.

Seven wonderfully handsome men gracefully made their way out of the vehicle and to the front doors. One by one I watched them from my perch. "These must be the suitors..." I spoke quietly so they couldn't hear me. "I should go greet them... for my sisters sake! Yes.. for my sister...." I ran (well, I quickly walked. A princess should never run unless absolutely necessary) into my chambers and out to the rest of the mansion.
