Life of Struggles
It's now past midnight, Dash can feel his head being a little lighter than it's suppose to be. They had been exchanging stories for the past couple of hours. It was there that Dash learned about the lives of his classmates. He found out that the parents of these three are not the typical couples around. All six of them were friends in college and they ended up marrying each other. And the most astounding thing is that they were all men. Their parents are all gay couples.
It appears that only Ynan is the biological child of those three couples. Both Tuna and London were adopted children by the other two couples.
Dash can certainly feel that despite the unusual family setup of these three people, they take pride of having such great parents. And as Dash suspected, these three are indeed from wealthy families.
Tuna's parents are the wealthiest of the three. One of his Dads is a well know neurosurgeon in the country. And the other one is the sole heir to a multi-billion dollar motor business, the largest in the country.
London's parents are somewhat different. One is a licensed engineer and the other is a registered physician. Yet, they both ventured in numerous businesses instead of practicing their professions --- from beauty salons to coffee shops. They even have international branches and obviously, very successful.
One of Ynan's parents is also a physician, a Pediatrician for children's cancer. The other one is the CEO of one of the largest property developers of the country. Tuna said that Ynan's parent's love-story is really fun, but she didn't say much. Maybe Ynan signaled to her not to spill too much beans.
Dash just stared at them with awe. These three doesn't even have to go to school. Their futures are secured. They didn't have to stretch a single muscle to earn a living.
It must be boring, Dash thought to himself.
"So," Tuna said upon Sheki finished with his almighty life-story. "How about you Dash? Who are you?"
"Me?" Dash pointed a finger at his nose, eyes filled with surprise. Then he gave out a shy smile. "My life is not as interesting as you folks."
"Ohhh..." Tuna snorted upon hearing his response. "That's not fair."
