"If I told you that all that I've said and done is a lie." I let go of her hand and tried to keep calm. "Would you believe it?"
She stared at me. Analysing. She wasn't a psychology student nor was she good at it. But, she knew exactly how to read me.
Slowly she raised her hand and held my cheek. I tense up; careful not to let her touch give away this front I'm trying so hard to persist.
"No."

His cold eyes started to melt and slowly they faltered back to those sweet brown eyes that I know and love. I smiled, knowing that I've managed to tear down his walls.
"Do you know why?" He stood still, unresponsive.
I held his hands in mine as I looked into his eyes and continued, "Because I know you so well that it hurts."
