Thus Said The Lord

Ross had corrupted Tony. Everyone knew it. After Steve, Bucky, and T'Challa left, they immediately came up with a plan. Steve knew that contacting Sharon would be dangerous. Not only for her, but for him. He knew that he couldn't lead her on. But he needed her help. Desperately.

"Are you sure about this?" She'd asked him over the phone.

"We have to. I need to save them. I can't have them locked up because of me." He told her as he grabbed the new shield he'd had T'Challa's engineers create.

Clint had his hands over his ears as her screams echoed though the underwater prison. She didn't deserve this. None of them did. Just because they did what was right, doesn't mean that they had to be tortured. He looked up to see Sam repeatedly hitting his head against his cell door. Wanda was sobbing in the corner. Scott was screaming curses at the security camera hoping someone would come down. Clint could hear Ross yelling at her from there.

"Where is he?!!!" Ross demanded. Her curly red locks fell down as she hunched over, trying not to let him see that she was in agony.

"I told you." She spat. "I don't know." He signaled to the technician in the room behind them. Suddenly, shockwaves of electricity hit her. She coughed up blood and Ross slammed his hands on the table.

"Tell me where he is!!!" He screamed at her. She was trembling, she could feel herself falling apart inside. She knew that no matter what he did to her, she couldn't tell him.

"Go....t.to h..h.hell!" She spat at him. He stood up, brushed himself off, and stood up straight.

"Fine. Hit her, double time." He told the people in the lab. Her groans turned into blood curdling screams as he electric power courses through her body. "Give me a video through camera." Rods ordered. He look at the security cam as the light above it began flashing red. He looked straight into it.

"Hello Captain. I have something for you." He stepped aside to show the camera Natasha's broken form. "If you want your Widow, and the rest of your team alive, then report to me. You know where."

"Rogers no!" Natasha screamed. Ross chuckled.

"Goodbye Rogers. I hope to see you soon" Ross said. He signaled for his team to cut the video, edit if, and send it to the local news.

Steve looked in horror at the video, seeing his widow broken like that.

"I swear, when I get my hands on Ross." He hissed. The five of them stood on the shore of Florida. They had a submarine about to dive into the Atlantic Ocean, allowing them full access to the Raft.

"We'll save em Steve." Bucky said, putting a hand on his best friend's shoulder.

"I know we will."  Steve said.

Tony Stark hovered above the Raft in the Mark 50 suit. He saw a submarine rise from the depths of the ocean as Captain Steve Rogers emerged from the inside.

"Well, look who it is!" Tony said. "The righteous man!"

"Where are they Tony?" Steve yelled. He wasn't in the mood for the billionaire's games.

"Safe from your and your ridiculous ideas." Tony remarked. What had Ross done to the man? It didn't even sound like him anymore.

"Please, let them go. Let Natasha go. This isn't you Tony!" Steve begged.

"Shut up Rogers! I was tricked into stupidity by you and your demented ideals! You have no idea who I am!" Tony yelled.

"Fine, we'll do it the hard way."
