Richie died in a car crash and Eddie is still mourning.

It's been two months.

It all happened so fast. I just called him to see if he was alright. Everything was gonna be okay, but it wasn't. He.. he died. He didn't die on impact, he died in the hospital. I saw him. He said his last words to me, and died. I heard the flat line and I died along with him. I miss him, him and his stupid jokes, so dumb. I want him back, I would do anything to get him back. Anything. If the trip was postponed he would've still been here with me. Oh Richie, I miss you, I thought.

I raised my hand to go to the bathroom. The teacher let me, so I walked over to the door and into the hallway. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around, nothing. I felt another, and I turned around. Richie stood at the end of the hall. I put my hands over my mouth and I felt tears well up in my eyes. I blinked and he was gone. I turned around and ran into the bathroom. I saw him in the casket, all dressed up in a suit. I saw them put him in the ground. I shoveled a pile of dirt on him and said goodbye, how is he here? Thoughts swirled in my head. I walked around the bathroom, trying to think. I ran into a stall and cried.

"Eds?" I heard someone say.

I knew that voice. It was Richie. I sobbed.

"Eds? Are you mad at me or something? I'm right here. I just wanna talk to you."

I sobbed harder. Suddenly, the stall door flew open and I saw Richie. He was still dressed in a suit.

"The hell are you mad at me about? Is the whole school giving me the silent treatment? Why do you hate me? You look like you've seen a ghost." Richie spat.

"Y-y-you're a ghost." I said.

"Yeah, yeah. Very funny Kaspbrak." Richie said.

"No, Richie, you died in a car crash almost two months ago. You're dead. I saw you flat line, we buried you, I loved you..." I said.

Richie went pale.

"But I survived, I made it, I'm alive,"

"No Richie, look," I walked to him and took a deep breath. "Hold my hand."

He tried to grab my hand, but his went through it.

"God, this is a dream, I want to wake up, I want to wake up," Richie whined.

"I'm so sorry Richie," I said.

He looked at me and then he was gone.

I collapsed on the floor and sobbed, it was just the grief, right? I could't stop crying, all I could think about was Richie. Richie was gone.

Sorry for starting with a sad one. I have better ones.
