I stuttered on my words looking at the gorgeous woman before me, his genes were INCREDIBLE!

That's where he got the tint of green in his eyes from. Her eyes were such an intense green it was hypnotizing, Her cheek bones strongly poking from her face with the large smile she had.

The lip pout, that damned attractive lip pout was from his mom. I could only imagine what his dad looked like I bet he was INSANELY handsome.

She stepped aside giddily taking me to the kitchen. Where I see Oliver with rosy red cheeks,
"Ollie I wish you would've told me about her sooner!"

I raise my eyebrows silently teasing him for the nickname and he clenched his jaw, I stuck my tongue out like a child adding a fart noise to make it legit.

It was so strange seeing him flustered.. it's kinda Cute.

I sat at the counter biting into my burger, taking a few fries and shoving them into my mouth.

"Your hair is gorgeous darling" she grinned touching a dark lock of it.

"T-thank you"

My cheeks heated and I had an extra large smile on my face, "ugh she's adorable, Oliver how could you not love her" she teased.

"Easy, she's unprofessional, finds everything funny, eats like a grown man, not in very good shape, she sleeps all day, she talks too mu-" he was cut off thankfully... was I crying yet?

No I wasn't...good

"Enough Oliver" his mom said abruptly, I stood there while he'd put all my imperfections and insecurities on display blurting them out for me.

"I'm gonna head in for the night... nice meeting you" I smiled touching his mom's shoulder.

I stood up throwing my trash away and placing my drink in the refrigerator.

I let my head hang low as I walked past him and upstairs to my room where I took a shower changing into my pjs. I heard hushed yells every now and then but I ignored it climbing into my bed, it still smelled liked him—honey and fabric softener a sad smile crossed my face when I flipped my laptop screen open.

I was well into the Vampire diaries, when I heard a gentle knock at my door. Definitely wasn't Oliver I opened the door to the apologetic face of his mom.

I opened the door a little wider allowing her to step in, "I'm sorry about Oliver, sometimes he doesn't think" she said

"I'm fine really Ms. Bourne" I said softly

"His behavior was unacceptable, I've never seen him act that way towards anyone before. He's actually really sweet when you get to know him" she said trailing off

"Everything said I'm sure was just a lie to protect his ego." She said sadly

"I came to say goodbye and it was nice meeting you" she smiled pulling me into a warm hug.

I nodded, "likewise"

She looked as if she's just remembered something and she pulled out her phone. "I want to give you my number, if you have any problems with him or you just want to talk-" She smiled "I'm one call away"

I grinned, she was so kind and genuine.

"How about we hang out tomorrow, I'll pick you up at five?" She said with an egging smile

"See you at five" I said giddily.

She left out and I continued watching Netflix until I fell asleep.

Oliver's POV

I opened Cecilia's bedroom door to see her fast asleep with the Vampire diaries playing. I smiled softly, she has a huge obsession— "Damon and Stefan are soooo hot" I replayed her talking to Hazel on FaceTime the other night.

I felt bad honestly; I don't know what came over me. Her almost inaudible snores became present the closer I came to the bed.

I may not like her but I didn't have to say the things I did. I pulled the cover over her small body which smelled of baby lotion and coconut.

I caressed her cheek, "I'm sorry"

I looked back at her one final time before turning off the light and walking to my own room.

I had to call my dad, go see him maybe I had to stop acting like a child and man up before it was too late.
