Never Enough

Dear Father
I wish you could see
That my precious laughter
Will no more be

The smile on my face
Is the mask I have painted
Now it is just a race
As the mask becomes faded

Dear dad
The mask has finally fallen off
Now you can see my sadness
But now I am strong . Not soft

You can see the tracks
Of the tears you have made
If you look closely you can see the maps
But soon it will all start to fade

Now my mask has been repaired
The fake smile is back on
Acting like I cared
'Till once again all is gone

I will never be myself again
I was never enough  ... I never mattered
Now I am made out of pain
Until once again ... I shattered
