MADDIE SIGHED AS SHE entered the library. All her classes seemed to drag out longer than hour they were suppose to last. Maddie almost turned and walked back out, seeing Lydia and Allison before she sighed and picked up a book, flicking through the pages as she listened in on Lydia and Allison's conversation.

"I want one." Lydia said as Maddie pretended to read through the pages. "Which one?" Allison asked with a grin and Lydia looked at her. "The straight one obviously." Lydia scoffed and Maddie snorted as she looked up.

Maddie immediately regretted ever averting her eyes upward as she saw Aiden look over her way before his eyes widened. Maddie gasped as she ran out of the library, Aiden chasing after her, but by the time he got to the hall, she had already taken off.

"I'm sorry, Del." Aiden whispered and Ethan watched the two sadly. Maddie was Ethan's best friend and it killed them when they had to kill Kacey. In front of her, as well. It was what they had to do to be in Deucalion's pack.

Locking eyes with his twin, Aiden then muttered "dammit" before running down the halls after the girl he never meant to hurt.

Maddie was almost in tears when she reached Caroline, Scott and Stiles. Caroline's eyes widened as she saw her best friend and quickly pulled her into an empty classroom. "Maddie, calm down. I need you to talk to me. What happened?" Caroline asked as Maddie's breathing quickened.

"Aiden, Ethan. I saw them. Kacey." Maddie managed to breath out before sobbing. Caroline sighed. It was even worse that before now that Maddie's emotions were heightened.

"Who's Kacey?" "Who's Aiden and Ethan?" The two boys asked and Caroline turned to them. "Aiden was her first boyfriend and also the first person to brake her heart. Ethan was her best friend who broke her trust. It was one of her worst breakdowns, she spent months in therapy. Kacey, I like to think, is her guardian angel now." Caroline explained as Maddie was calming herself down. No one knew that in the doorway stood Aiden who's heart broke to hear how much he hurt her.

Maddie was confused and weirded out. Scott called her a few minutes ago telling her and Caroline to come to the Animal Clinic before giving them the address and hanging up. So now, Maddie and Caroline were headed to the animal clinic. Maddie decided to act like nothing had happened at school that day, which scared Caroline..a lot.

"I bet you this is one of their kinky fantasies or something." Maddie snorted and Caroline rolled her eyes. "Maddie, this could be serious! Something could be seriously wrong!" Caroline scolded with a huff. "Orrrr it could be a kinky fantasy. You never know with those boys." Maddie stated as they pulled up. Maddie sighed as they got out and walked into the clinic and into the back room as Scott had instructed.
