I am currently sitting on the stage with Brutus my boyfriend/fellow mentor and the mayor. when callpurnia the district escort walks on stage and says " happy hunger games and may the odds be ever in your favor". then she said " ladies first clove carrow " I stiffen up at the sound of my neice's name I tried to play it cool , but Brutus must have seen me tense up because he gives me "the look" that says it will be ok.
when clove finally gets to the stage callpurnia starts walking over to the boy's reaping ball. in the middle of her walking to the reaping ball she says "now for the gentleman" she calls a name " George Hadley " he looks to be about 12 years old. before he can even step out of his place a guy that looks to be about 18 years old screams " I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE ". he gets up to the stage callpurnia asks him what his name is he replies " Cato Hadley ".
