Hank's eyes were wide as he stares at Connor, the feeling of pain spreading through his chest. Blood quickly bubbling up into his throat, not taking long to flow from his mouth and make breathing all the more difficult. The android simply stood over him with a blank expression.
"You never listen, Lieutenant," Connor huffed as he tossed the gun to the side, his face blank and unreadable. "When I say stay out of my way, you stay out of my way."
Hank rolled over and coughed a bit, blood quickly forming a puddle below his mouth. Connor didn't even spare him a second glance as he walked over to his sniper rifle again.
"Connor... don't do-" he chokes a bit. "Don't do this." The edges of the older man's vision were slowly fading to black as death crept closer and closer.
Connor didn't answer and a single shot rang out, followed by screams of panicked androids filled the cold night air. A moment later footsteps slowly approached the dying man.
"Why are you still hanging on Hank, no one is going to miss you," Connor hissed grabbing the gun again and pointing it to Hank's head. "Any last words? Not that anyone would care."
"I'm sorry..." Hank whispered as he clenched his eyes shut.
One final shot rang out.
