What is a monster?
For some, it may be an imaginary or legendary creature, such as centaurs and harpies.
For others, it could refer to someone or something that has undergone a few mutations and deformities.
Or simply, it could be something of a person's imagination that represents one's fears and phobias, or something that just exists to scare the ignorant.
I don't think that when someone calls you a monster, means that they are insulting you.
Heck, we mustn't even use the term "monster" to disgrace anyone who is anybody.
We should learn to accept that monster are creatures born upon this home we call Earth which maybe exists to serve as an inspiration to those feeling down and gloomy, and to those who just want to express their selves through something.
Monsters can be more than threats to the children of our modern world.
They can even serve as an inspiration to some of us.
Take for example, poor Quasimodo from Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Wasn't he considered by his life-long guardian, the Minister of Justice, Lord Claude Frollo as a monster? But somehow, when he met dear Esmeralda and the dashing Phoebus, they made it a point for him to realize that it isn't really bad to have some distortions in his physical appearance, for in fact, even though, Quasimodo had a nonperishable burden upon his back, his heart was full of love as that of a mother who gave birth to her firstborn child, and his mind and soul was filled with clear innocence and purity.
Now, from a person's point of view, from one out of ten of you whose grew up to the life of knowing such a beautiful yet pitiful creation of God; or perhaps if you could imagine yourself being the one people would call as a "monster" every single day, would YOU still be able to wake up to a bright sunny morning with a smile upon your lips?
These special persons are just people like us - like you and me.
Were you taught by your parents to grow up, bring disgrace and pick on people like them?
I'd positively say NO, unless your parents are mental retards who are under the impression of drugs and alcohol to be such heartless ignorants to raise you up to do those horrible things. No offense meant.
Overall, we should, I mean MUST treat for our fellow beings like our equals, and as normal people. Their dreams, hopes and spirits MUST NOT be dampened by you, blabbering nonsense and insults at them. Isn't it enough that they already get to suffer from the pains of their illnesses and handicaps?
For once, be a true friend, a respectful and caring citizen.
Or if not, just try NOT to mess with them nor laugh at them for once in your life, and you'll see that somehow, this little deed will brighten up their darkest days during their lifetime.
Forget about status quos and learn to be more compassionate.
Spread the love and spare animosity.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I've changed my mind, this won't be a story after all. Just something I was inspired to do and sure was another way to get me off my writer's block. :D
Have a nice day ahead! Cheers! :)
