Most of you would look at the title and wonder why I'm writing about a bus. Well, it's not just about a bus. It's about life in a bus. for those of you, especially high school students, you might know what I'm talking about. But if you don't, here's what I mean...
For some people, a school bus is an integral part of their lives. The friends a student makes here may be categorised as "Bus Buddies". A new, smaller world is made in these moving boxes. Let me tell you about my world...
I get in my bus everyday at 7:35am. To be honest, this isn't exactly my bus. I've been alotted a different bus number. But that's a story for another day. There are 7 people who make this bus so special for me. The rest of the kids on the bus are those who I've either never spoken to or don't really know.
I'm not going to use names, they might kill me. But I can give you a description. There are two boys and six girls (including me). There's the Single Guy, the Athletic Girl, the Nerd, the Anorexic, the Junior Kid, the Singer and the Chatter Box. All these kids have a special place in my heart.
The Single Guy has this annoying habbit of poking you till you hear him. I was in this serious discussion with one of the above and he constantly pokes me till I fianlly put my conversation to a halt to listen to what he wants to say. And what does he say?
Single Guy : So Arsenal this Arsenal that...
Yes, he's a huge fan of Arsenal. I'm not that into football so I don't really know what he's saying half the time. But I think out of all these noobs, I'm closest to him. I've known him for longer and we love cracking jokes.
The funny thing about the Anorexic Girl is that she's the ONLY one who brings food. She's already in the bus when I enter and she's just sitting there in her place by the window, with her tiffin box sitting open on her lap. You know those people who take around two hours to finish a sandwich? Yep, she's one of them. So I, being the good friend that I am, help her in finishing her food as soon as possible.
I think the most hilarious character in the bus is the Nerd. She's a typical nerd. She's a lot of fun to hang out with, but when she's studying then NEVER mess with her. She used to give me accounts tuitions last year because she's amazingly smart. I tried cracking a joke once while she was teaching. Biggest mistake of my life. Her poker face was better than Kristen Stewarts'. That's where the hilarious part comes. She contradicts herself. She's the person who laughs for no reason. I remember this one time when I was telling one of my super lame jokes in the bus. No one laughed except the Single Guy...and the Nerd. And while she was laughing, here's what she said:
The Nerd: Hey Single Guy why're you laughing that joke was so lame!
And we're all like "bro you're laughing too" and we all end up laughing.
