With pills and blade in hand, she went in her room and locked the door behind her.
Everything was set and there was only one thing left to do before she continues with her plan.
She got out her phone and punched in the numbers she knew very well.
It rang once, twice, thrice, and finally he answered.
"Hello," she heard his voice on the other line.
For a moment she forgot how to talk.
"H-hello," she said quietly. Her voice only above a whisper.
"What do you want?" he demanded harshly.
She felt tears well up in her eyes. she couldn't talk. She knew that if she did, her voice would crack and break.
"If you won't tallk, I'll hang up now. You're wasting my time," he said. It was clear that he disliked her.
"Wait," she pleaded desperately.
"Hurry up," he growled.
"Just wait please!" ahe pleaded once again.
She put her phone on speaker mode and placed it beside her.
She got the blade and traced it across her wrist.
Then she got her pills and got each one out of the bottle nad drank it all.
The world around her started to disappear.
She picked up the phone and spoke again.
"You wanna hear a sad story?" she asked. Taking deep large breaths as it gets harder for her to breathe.
There was no reply on the other line but she knew he was there. She could hear him breathing.
It was getting harder for her to speak now but still she continued.
"Girl meets boy. Boy meets girl. Girl falls for boy. Boy falls for girl. Sadly, the girl was not her," she whispered. Silently, the first of her tears rolled down her cheeks, followed by many others.
He didn't repy.
She slowly closed her eyes for the last time and with her last breath, she whispered the last thing she'll ever say.
"I love you."
