Why's a Rhinoceros called a rhinoceros

Or a skunk called a skunk?

Why's a giraffe called a girrafe

Or a chipmunk called a chipmunk?

Why's a cloud called a cloud

Or a tree called a tree?

Why's a house called a house?

It's always puzzled me!

Why's a girl called a girl

Or a boy called a boy?

Why's a flower called a flower

Is it just to annoy?

Why's a coin called a coin

Or a car called a car?

Why's a hand called a hand

Or a star called a star?

If they were called nothing

Then you would agree

But you'd still ask why?

Just like me.
