That's what they all look like, Luna, Zane, Rose, Jay, Alex, and Chloe. (Even though Chloe isn't in this chapter)
(Luna's pov)
I stood on stage, the song almost over. My best friends on either side of me. On my left, Jay Carter was playing the drums. On my right, Zane Furson playing his electric guitar. And behind me, on a lifted part of the stage, Rose Thorn was singing back up. I stood in front of them all, fans screaming the name of our band. Blood Lust. It was weird, we all knew this... but Jay created it. He was stupid and violent when he was drunk one time, and he had made someone bleed then started craving that feeling of red on his hands. We got kicked out and banned from that bar... but we named our band Blood Lust to pick on him about it. "I showed you my flaws, and you revealed your claws... and dug them right into my heart! What the hell's wrong with being weird? Its not like I need your opinion here-" I sang. "I didn't ask for it." Rose tacked on, backing me up, her voice a bit higher than mine. "I didn't ask for this! I don't need you, and never did! Your not wanted my me, but I am by the police! And it's all your fault!" I yelled into the microphone, fans cheering like crazy when the stage lights dimmed and I looked at the ground. I was drenched in sweat and my dark purple hair stuck to my face. Jay did a drum solo, then the song was over. I panted a little but sucked in a deep breath, and called out to the crowd with my microphone, "Goodnight, New York!" Our fans erupted again with squeals and claps, a few whistles here and there. I wiped my forehead with the back of my hand, letting out a sigh. I walked backstage, my friends following, Jay and Rose threw their arms around my neck. Zane hesitantly following suit. Jay had pitch black hair that stuck up in all kinds of angles, he had dark blue skinny jeans with a black chain hanging out the pocket. And his black tank top clung to his pale, sweaty body, while his green eyes were filled with joy. Zane had sandy blonde hair that fell on his forehead, yet stood up a little in the front. His eyes were a dark green and his skin was a shade or two tanner than Jay's. He wore an outfit that looked like it belonged to an emo teacher, not that I was judging. Then there was Rose, she was perfect. She had black, shoulder length hair with white tips, greenish- yellow eyes that sparkled in the right lighting, and the palest skin of us all. She had full, bright red lips, a pink and black crop top with a short skirt that had the same color scheme. She had cute, black boots that went to her ankles, and a white rose in her hair to top it all off. She was beautiful, and she was way more fun to talk to than any of the guys. Sure, Jay and Zane weren't losers but Rose understood me better than they did. "Okay, folks, Blood Lust will be back out soon to sign autographs and whatnot... you just have to be patient." A female announcer declared, her voice echoing around us. "Dude, Fault was fucking awesome! I'm so glad I wrote it, and good job on singing it you two!" Jay grinned, looking at Rose and I. Fault was the song we had just performed, we did more before that but Jay mainly liked that song because he wrote the lyrics. "Do I not get any praise?" Zane scoffed, rolling his eyes. Jay rolled his eyes right back, "No, you don't. All your lazy ass did was play the guitar." Zane growled and pushed Jay, which affected Rose and I as well. We backed away so we didn't get hit again. Jay snarled and pushed the other male in return. "Asshole!" Zane hissed, punching Jay in the jaw. "Bitch, I'm not an asshole.... I'm a smartass! There's a difference!" Jay retorted, slapping Zane in the face. "Cat fight!" Rose snickered, elbowing me lightly. I laughed, nudging her with my shoulder. Zane and Jay paused and faced us, arms crossed. "I'll have you know, that if I was an animal I'd sure as hell be a wolf!" Jay snapped, a frown on his face. "And I'd be a goddamn great dane, not some cat!" Zane scowled, his eyes narrowing. "Quit being babies and cool down or whatever you need to do, we don't have all night." A calm voice said, it was deeper than what's considered average, but it was unmistakably female. ''Oh, hey, Alex! Where's your wife?" Rose beamed, shifting her weight and putting her hand on her beautifully curved waist. "Oh, Chloe? She's around here somewhere, not sure exactly where though. Whatever, she'll show up soon... but in the meantime, you guys need to freshen up. Those fans look like they're gonna murder someone if y'all don't get your asses moving." Alex said, signaling for us to hurry up and get done. The four of us walked a little further to our own little room that was set up just for us, it had a mini-fridge, a huge mirror with some make- up around it, and a large velvet couch. I grabbed a water for each of us, and sat down on the sofa. I threw Jay and Zane their water bottles, and handed one to Rose. She thanked me and sat down. "You did awesome on stage, Luna... you put so much compassion in to your singing and I just.... love it." Rose smiled softly, putting her hand on my knee. My heart fluttered, and the tips of my ears were on fire. She got closer to my face, and my stomach somersaulted. It's funny how I could sing next to her all day long, and nothing would happen, but the instant we're just normally talking- my body just malfunctions and decides to put me through hell. "Thanks, you did amazing too! Best Backup Singer Award goes to.... Rose Thorn!" I laughed awkwardly, my blue eyes not leaving her for a split second. She got closer to my face and stared at it intensely, she wiped at something under my eye. "Darling, your eyeliner is all kinds of messed up... here, I'll fix it!" Rose said, standing up and grabbing some make-up. "I thought you said my eyeliner was messed up... not my entire face." I teased, as she sat back down. She rolled her eyes playfully, and started applying black lipstick to my lips. Then she put light purple eyeshadow on me, added dark purple and swirled them together. She smiled, and did my eyeliner, making it nice and thick. "There, all better." She claimed, her voice sounding very sweet. And then Jay happened. He interrupted our little moment by saying, "Oh, just fuck already!" We both blushed, me more than her, and stared at him incredulously. "Jay, what the literal fuck! Oh my god- this is so embarrassing." I grumbled, covering my face. Zane elbowed Jay in the ribcage, warning him silently that he should stop. I took a sip of my water and didn't stop until it was gone. Jay and Zane were now by the mirror putting on thick eyeliner. "Dude, it's called 'guyliner'. Not whatever the hell you're tryna say it is." Jay said. "Dallon Weekes, himself, said that it's called 'pretty, pretty make-up'... so technically that makes you gay as fuck." Zane informed, smirking. "Technically, my ass! You're doing it too! And, you were clearly stalking poor ol' Dallon, so that makes you gayer!" Jay claimed triumphantly, finishing up his eyeliner and putting it down. Zane got done with his and rolled his eyes. "Whatever, I don't need to listen to your shit anyways... I have fans to attend to." He scoffed, walking away to the fan-meet. "Well you're a bitch, and a-" Jay grumbled, continuing as he chased after Zane. Rose and I laughed. "They're like an old married couple!" She joked. "They really are it's funny!" I smiled. We stood up and followed after the boys, heading to the most insane place in the world. Fan-meet.
