I met her eyes as she spoke. "Care?!
"Shawn, don't underestimate the love one person can give. Because Shawn, I love you. Always have, always will."
And that was when she grasped me, kissing me for the second time since she had stolen my heart back. I returned the kiss and she paused, looking at me. I gripped her by her waist, holding her securely. When Katie shivered slightly, I merely hugged her tighter until my warmth became her own. "Don't take me home yet," she whispered.
I smirked, "Why? Is the company charming?"
"Quite," she replied, gripping me by my shirt collar. I nuzzled her playfully.
That night we fell asleep in each other's arms.
