My name is Christopher, I'm at the house of a girl I once loved. I keep appearing at this house in my dreams, and right now, I've decided that I'd finally look inside. Night after night, I always will be seeing this house. They aren't dreams, they're nightmares that I die to get out of.

I tried to open the door into the house, I'm in the backyard, but the door wouldn't budge. There was a carving of an eye above the door. I searched around for something to put inside the carving. There's a river, I head towards the bypass in the river. There was a deep mud pond, but two large rocks are blocking the water from coming through. I can't see what's under the mud unless the water clears the mud. I head back towards the door I tried to enter, and there were stairs next to it. I headed up the stairs, but there wasn't anything to be found, so I went back down and spotted a small door. There was a string on it, but I couldn't break it with my hands. I went back up the stairs in search of something to use, I found a closable hunting knife. I used it to cut the string and to open the small door. I couldn't fit through the door, and there would be no point trying because it didn't lead into the house. I was just a small little room. I crouched down to see better, and saw a dry branch in a dark corner. There was a mirror shard behind it. I tried to tug at the dry branch, but it wouldn't move. I shoved my hands in my pockets, and found a cigarette lighter. I didn't know how that appeared there, but I lit the dry branch on fire and put the mirror shard in my pocket. I was shaped like it was meant to fit in something, I went back to the door and put it in the carving of the eye. I suddenly felt uncomfortable, I looked towards the window and saw a girl staring at me, I gasped and it sent shivers down my spine. She disappeared behind the curtains after I made eye contact with her. I didn't want to explore inside anymore, but I had to, just to get rid of this dream. I tried to open the door, but it still wouldn't budge.

I remembered the deep mud pond, and the rocks blocking the water from going through. I couldn't reach the rocks, I had to look for something long enough for me to reach it and push it for the water to come through. A stick could work, so I walked towards a tree and saw a branch next to it. I picked up the branch and went back to the rocks. I moved both of the large rocks and then the water cleared the mud pond to reveal a mirror shard. I picked it up and headed back to the door, inserting it into the carving of the eye. The two mirror shards fit perfectly inside, and I tried to open the door again. I quicky backed up when the door started shaking on its own, as if somebody was going to atempt to break it down to get outside. I didn't know that there were people inside of the house, so what will happen to me when I go inside? The eye didn't look like an eye, it was missing a pupil. Maybe that's why it won't let me through. I looked for something dark, and round to use as the pupil. I looked for a rock, but I realized that I needed something light and not heavy. I looked behind a bush and found a dried pine cone. I picked it up and put it in the eye. I tried to open the door again, but it wouldn't open. Somebody tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around, and nobody was there. I looked at the ground, a cigarette lighter was there. I asked myself,"Is that mine?" I searched through my pockets, somehow my cigarette lighter was gone, so this must've been mine. I thought somebody took it out of my pockets, but who? I tried to convince myself that it fell out of my pockets. My deep pockets, with no holes. I can't convince myself. What does the inside of the house look like? The suspense is killing me. I have to get in, I'd do anything. I thought about how the cigarette lighter randomly appeared, maybe it was a sign. I lit the dried pine cone on fire. I still couldn't get in. I looked around and saw something near the river, it was an empty canteen. I put water inside of it and I put out the fire so it wouldn't spread. The eye looked different, and I heard a sound. I attempted to open the door once again, and I finally got inside.

There were eyes all over the walls, I could feel them watching me wherever I go. It was dark, I heard a girl talking, she was upstairs. She said,"Oh, so you came?" I was confused and heard whispers. The house was old, and it looked as if nobody lived here anymore, but how can that be? I remember a girl looking at me through the window. I also remember someone banging on the door, as if they were begging to get out. I saw a broken door, I opened it and saw a room with a huge hole in it full of water. I saw my reflection in the water, and I caught a glimpse of a girl behind me with blood on her face. I quickly turned around, nobody was there. I was worried and I felt like I couldn't breath. I put my hand in the water, the water was cold and dirty. Something tugged at my hand, I pulled my hand out as my fingers were covered in blood. I wasn't injured, it must've been somebody else's blood. I got up and searched around the room, I made sure that I did not step or interact what so ever with the water. The room was lit up with candles, and the wooden floor seemed weak and made a creaking noise every step I took. Nobody could ever stay quiet in this room without the floor revealing their presence. I found a mask on the ground, it was a frightening mask and I had no clue why it was here. I didn't know if I should toss it in the water or wear it. I picked it up, but had no place to put it. I think I should keep it with me, so I wore it on my face. Everything looked different as I wore it, the place got darker. I looked around the room and at the water. I screamed in fear as I spotted a dead body in the water. She had bloody hands, and it seems she was drowned to death. "Was she the one who grabbed my hand?" I whispered to myself, I remember someone drowning, and it made me feel guilty and full of regret, but I didn't know why. I went to the room I was in before, I saw a stove that seemed to be broken at the moment. There was a cart, I looked inside and took some sawdust out of the cart. I wanted a little bit because it looked like there was already enough in the cart anyway. I explored more of the room, I found a table, it was snapped in half because there was a stuck bone hilt in the middle of the table. I felt the bone hilt, it was dusty and I felt like I've had it in my hands before. I looked in my pockets for something to get the bone hilt out, I used everything and the wooden branch seemed to work, except the sharp end of the bone hilt is stuck in the table. When I picked up the bone hilt, a piercing scream came out of nowhere. I turned around and saw a shadowy figure standing behind me. I blinked and there were 8 shadowy figures surrounding me, all looking the same. Everything turned blurry, and then they disappeared in a blink of and eye. I went to the room with the drowned girl. I saw something in the water, I put some sawdust in the water and a little bit of the floor appeared. I walked on it as I got closer to the dead body. She was a beautiful girl, something about her made me want to hug her tight, but she's dead, so saying that sounds awful. I picked up her head which lifted her body too. I stared at her closed eyes, she has long natural pitch black eyelashes. Her lips looked soft and were light pink.  I stared at her longer until she opened her eyes and I threw her back into the water. I sheltered my eyes from the flying water when she fell back in. I glanced in the water, she wasn't there. I slowly turned my head, scared of what might be there....

Nobody was there, until I saw her, in the corner of the room, in the dark. I heard loud scratches out of nowhere, her eyes were open. Her light green eyes, her dark brown hair, she was gorgeous, but was very frightening as well because she is dead. Her eyes followed every step I took. I was sweating, she reached out her hand to me, inside her hand was a sharp fragment. I went up to her and quickly took it, running back. I had to take it before she stabbed me with it. I put the bone hilt and the sharp fragment together, it made a knife. The door opened for me to leave, why? I turned around and there she was, the girl I thought was dead. She seemed completely alive and healthy, but I had a chance to leave, or to stay with her. Why would I stay with her? Because that's Anna. She was beautiful, she was everything I could ask for. Except, she drowned herself for me, when I left her. If I left, would this nightmare go on because Anna still wants me? If I stay, would the nightmares stop? It all made me think of something that I regret. I went up to Anna and stayed with her, but the door was still wide open. If I go through the door, I can't have her. I hugged her and she hugged me, not saying a word, until she screamed as I stabbed her. I killed the girl that I love. I ran towards the door, but it shut itself and it was locked. I struggled to open it, I have to live in this house,  having a nightmare over and over. I killed her and now I'm trapped. But I remember when I always loved her, Anna.
