New beginings

Angel creek is a small town filled with small minded people on the south side of Australia. I already hate it here! My mum (Callie) moved us over here not long after she broke up with my dad (Derrick) about a week ago. My farther, how do I describe him? A abusive drunk ass hole that has no empathy at all!

My name is Isabelle, I have sky blue eye and par oxide blonde hair that I was borne with, fair skin and I am 6' tall. I get my looks from my mum and my height from my dad.

This town is so boring, all it has is two phone booths, a pub, convenience shop and a local pool. Yeah, heaps to do around here! But hey beats living with my dad any day!

It is about 2 pm in the afternoon and I've got nothing to do, school hasn't started yet so may as we'll have a look around town and see what there is right?

I went to my room to get a warm jumper because it's a bit windy outside, I grabbed my coat out of one of the unpacked boxes on my floor and continued to walk down the street. The streets were lined with oak trees and the paths were brick. Everything seemed quiet, it gave the place an creepy feeling I ignored it and kept walking until I reached a small stone bridge that overlooked the 'angel creek'. It wasn't a large creek, I could more picture a small canoe going straight down the middle.

I was sitting one the ledge of the bridge looking at the shrubs and other plant life that lined each side of the small path of dark brown water. Thats when I noticed it. There were two silver eyes coming form the bushes just starring at me, I could almost feel the wonder and confusion radiating onto me.

Then with that they disappeared, I stood up looking for what/who those almost magic eyes where attached to. I'm just so intrigued what animal has those eyes and why were they starring at me like that? I looked around from the bridge for what felt like half an hour, when I realised it wasn't coming back anytime soon I sat back onto the ledge feeling disappointed and a tad grumpy from not finding the being.

I tilted my head back and put my hands out behind my lower back, I opened my eyes and stared at the orange sky, 'orange? Oh my god what time is it mums going to kill me!?' I exclaimed at the top of my lugs and started to run.
