It was the middle of winter where childrens smiles were the brightest, and romance was high. Especially in the frozen pond were many villagers and ninjas ice skated.
It was nighttime so everyone was indoors enjoying some hot coco by the fireplace or already sleeping next to their loved ones. Ino on the other hand wanted some time alone as she felt lonely, everyone was getting married, Naruto and Hinata were already married and were expecting, Ino on the other hand didn't have anyone to relate to, even Forehead was getting married to the Sasuke Uchiha, Ino had a thing for Shikamaru but that was thrown in the trash when Temari came out of No where and shikamaru began to hid things from Ino.
Now Ino was alone walking towards the pond, she bought her own skates because she knew that the ice skates shop where you rented your own was closed, not that it bothered her, as long as the pond was open to everyone. For some reason Sai was guarding close by and came with skates for a break. He froze once seeing Ino his love.
Ino walked towards the ice and began to skate taking quick and long strides enjoying the breeze, She continued to skate as she realized that two chakra signatures came towards but quickly stopped and hiding their chakra. Ino knowing full well that Shikamaru and Temari were there payed no mind, and continued and acted like she didn't notice at all. She did a small toe jump to get their attention and she began to sing. Not noticing Sai.

She grabbed her ankle and lifted it into a split remaining on the ice.
'Maybe if i don't cry I wont feel amymore.'
She stopped and a motioned towards them.

She finally teared up and swung her head the other way and skated.
'Happy for you, know that I am, even if I cant understand.'
Shikamaru stood up at the eye contact.
'I'll take the pain, Give me the truth, Me and my heart, We'll make it through.'
Shikamaru glided towards Ino and grabbed her hands turning her into him. And skated with her
'If happy is her!'
She pointed at Temari who was standing and looking in worry.
'Im happy for you.'
"We're getting married." Shikamaru finally stated stopping and letting go of her hands. Out of no where Sai came out gliding towards them, he grabbed Ino's hand. And skated with her as if dancing in a Ballroom. And Sai began to sing to Ino.
'Stone cold, Stone cold, You're dancing with him while im staring at my phone.'
Sai looked at Ino,
'Stone cold, Stone cold, I was your amber, but now he's your shade of gold.'
Sai twisted her and let her go making her do a hard spin.
'Stone cold, BABY! God knows i try to feel...'
Sai rushed at her and grabbed her waist lifting her and spinning with her.
'Happy for you! Know that I am, Even if I cant understand.'
Sai whispered in her ear, "ill help you through your troubles."
'Ill take the pain, give me the truth, me and my heart, We'll make it though"
Sai glared at shikamaru
'If happy is him,'
Sai softly looked at her eyes.
'Im happy for you,'
Sai grabbed her cheeks softly and sang
'Dont wanna be stone cold, stone'
Shikamaru yelled out happy that ino will move on.
'I wish i could mean this, but here's my goodbye,"
Temari came out and glided towards Shikamaru and hugged him. She even sang.
'Im happy for you, know that i am, even if i cant understand.'
Shikamaru smiled and grabbed his fiance, ino smiled and sang.
'If happy is her, if happy is her, im happy for you.'
She yelled and collapsed onto sai tired. Sai picked her up bridal style and quickly left leaving the soon to be married couple alone.
