Jungkook

The kids were adjusting well. While Jungkook and Taehyung were put in charge of taking care of them, the rest of the Hyungs were off holding secret meetings about what to do.

If Jungkook were to be honest, he felt a little left out, he also wanted to partake in the official plan of bringing the Kim JeNa down, but Taehyung's happy grins and laughs at being with his siblings and cousins definitely made up for it.

Jungkook was content. *was* But now, ever since that person showed up, he felt himself getting more and more annoyed. Jungkook used to be satisfied with just watching his angel being happy as well as hugging him, spoiling him, kissing him lightly on the cheek, forehead, and hands.

But then Kim MinJae showed up one day, out of the blue, testing Jungkook to his limits.

Flashback

"Hyung, who are you texting?" Jungkook asked, wondering why his angel was smiling and giggling so much.

The pair were settled comfortably on Jungkook's couch, Jungkook fiddling around with Taehyung's hair as Taehyung, who sat in his lap, was busy smiling at his phone. (The kids were at Jin-Hyung's place for lunch.)

"So, my very first painting as V was an oil paint piece called 'No Rainbows Without Rain.' It was a little boy who sat on a cloud, crying over a girl who was on a not very vibrant rainbow. The story behind it was that the boy symbolized me who was hurting and crying inside but hid behind a cloud to mask it all. The girl symbolized the kids while the rainbow their safety and happiness. In order to keep the rainbow visible, the boy needs to continue to let it rain with his tears, because there are no rainbows without the rain. So in order to keep the girl happy and from falling, the boy must continue to suffer, and hide his true state."

Jungkook gazed at the elder in awe. It was at times like these that he truly realized that Kim Taehyung really was a genius.

"T-That's beautiful, angel, I haven't even seen it but I know I'm going to love it." Jungkook murmured, leaning forward to press a kiss to the back of the elder's neck.

"Stop it Jungkook-ah! That tickles!" his angel giggled.

"A-Anyways, I had to sell it, even though it was the only painting that I really felt close to as well as my very first as V because I was desperate for money. I needed to make money quickly to send back to the woman. But just yesterday I was looking through the letters I got and there was one letter  whose writer was the one who bought the painting. He wanted to give it back to me as a present, because he knew that it was very important to me. So we met up at a café-"

"You met up with a guy? At a café? Just you two??" Jungkook abruptly cut Taehyung off, turning the elder around to face him, with Taehyung ending up straddling Jungkook's lap. If it were any other situation, Jungkook would probably be embarrassed by their intimate position, and how close his angel was to him. But he was too irritated to be shy.

"Y-Yeah, why?" Apparently, Taehyung was the one to be the flustered one, as he flushed a light pink and looked down, unable to meet Jungkook's piercing gaze.

Jungkook's frown deepened, but he didn't reply, waiting for Taehyung to continue the story.

"Well, he said he'll give me the painting in exchange for my phone-number and I-"

"I'm sorry, you gave him your phone number??" Jungkook demanded in disbelief.

"Yes? He was really cool, and he's training to become an art teacher, and it's the cutest-"

"Cute??"

"Why are you cutting me off and repeating my words?" the elder pouted, lightly smacking Jungkook's tense shoulder.

"So, you're telling me that, this random dude appears out of nowhere, gives you back a painting he apparently bought from you, then just straight up asks for your phone number? And you gave it to him?? And that's who your texting like a lovesick teenager?" Jungkook exclaimed, now fully annoyed at everything in the world.

"Why are you so irritated? You haven't even met the guy!"

Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows in disgust. "I don't ever want to meet this guy, and I don't want you to either."

End of Flashback

Unfortunately for Jungkook, Taehyung was extremely stubborn. So now the 20 year old billionaire had to share Taehyung with not only his Hyungs but stupid Kim MinJae who seemed to take up all of his angel's time.

It was sickening knowing that Jungkook had no right to get mad at Kim MinJae or even Taehyung because it wasn't like they were together or anything. Kim Taehyung wasn't Jeon Jungkook's boyfriend, so he couldn't stop his angel from being brain-washed by the devil.

So for the past week, Jungkook was moody. He only ever smiled around the kids and even that was forced. He was angry that the Hyung's didn't include him in the planning, that two weeks had passed yet there was still no word of an official plan. Angry that Kim MinJae was stealing his precious time with his angel from him. Angry. Angry. Angry. So he did the one thing he was good at: avoiding his problems. And if his problems laid in Kim Taehyung and his bright, sociable personality, then so be it. He would have to avoid the elder.

But Jungkook was also sad. Mostly about one recurring thing: he really couldn't call Taehyung, his angel anymore.

Taehyung

Taehyung was tired of Jungkook's mood swings. Just two weeks after he forgave him, he suddenly was acting like a moody teenage boy. Whenever he asked to hang out, go for a walk, or even just cuddle, the younger would frown (cutely) and mumble an excuse before walking away. It was like the time he was ignoring Jungkook for a few hours, except worse because it was going on for days.

His "Jungkookie withdrawal symptoms" as he liked to call it was blatantly there in the low, dull throbbing in his chest. It stung a little how Jungkook wasn't even trying to explain why he was acting this way. He saw the younger less and less everyday, and it was really taking a toll on him. At first, complaining to MinJae about his one-sided crush was enough to ease his annoyance, but even that couldn't make the bad mood Taehyung was experiencing go away. He rarely saw his Hyungs too, so MinJae was the only one to comfort him.

But Taehyung felt horrible for bothering his new friend so much. The younger had even canceled a date with his boyfriend for Taehyung when he burst into tears on the phone after Jungkook gave him this cold blank stare and completely ignored him. He had felt so bad that he even prepared a whole romantic picnic dinner for the two lovebirds which earned him a new phone number (MinJae's boyfriend really liked Taehyung's sandwiches).

However, even making his two new friends' day couldn't even lift his spirit up. Taehyung seriously hated going from seeing Jungkook every second of the day to maybe catching a glimpse of him here and there.

So.

He decided that he would confront him. He would find out what was making Jungkook act this way. Because even if the one thing he was horrible at was confrontation, Taehyung would risk the awkward atmosphere if it meant that he could get his guardian angel to talk to him again. Plus, it was time he manned up and did something himself for a change.

He could do it. He was strong, wasn't he?
