3. Trouble in Spain

"Hola Señoritas!" Yells John Smith at the top of his lungs.

Beca rolls her eyes, she had to deal with him and Gail following her wherever she went for weeks back at home and now this. "Where'd you guys even come from?" She asks clearly annoyed.

"A little town called persistence, sweet cheeks." Exclaims Gail.

"Looks at this ladies. All access passes, we're tall enough for all the rides. You can run but you cannot hide." Says John showing the girls his ID.

Beca had tuned them out after Gail had spoken. She hated the fact that they were there, she wanted to have a stress free trip. To be able to have some alone time with the girls and specially Chloe. Now she had to watch out for those two.

"Papi chulos, straight ahead." Said Flo bringing Beca back from deep within her thoughts.

Of course all the girls were in awe. Two muscular good looking guys in uniform, they were in heaven. All Beca could do is judge them. Noticing that Chloe was taking an interest made her very jealous.

"Welcome to Spain Bellas. A few important things to note before we begin." Says the one wearing dark shades.

At that moment one of the jets turned on making whatever he was saying inaudible. When they were finally able to hear again Beca takes light of this soldiers humor. His name was Chicago, the guy behind him was Zeke. Looking at Chloe, Beca could see her checking him out. Amy's obvious flirting was cringy and made her stomach turn. As they headed inside the hangar he showed them where they would perform and introduced them to the other groups. Saddle up seemed to be a country group, unlike Young Sparrow and DJ Dragon Nuts who where on the crazy and noisy side of the spectrum. Finally Evermoist, a rock band made up of girls. Getting to know the groups the girls find out that there is a competition to see who would open for DJ Khaled at the end of the tour.

"So you guys are like a cover band right?" Asks Serenity.

"Well no Emily writes original songs for The Bellas." Says Chloe.

"Well I mean I don't really do it anymore. I kind of did that one then I-" Emma was stopped before she could finished.

"Hey hey hey, you with us or against us?" Aubrey points out.

Evermoist was having their fun at bullying the girls, and trying to intimidate them. Getting tired of it Emma steps in to calm down the situation.

"Guys stop! They just don't like sharing the spotlight. So they're trying to intimidate us. Let's just take the highroad and do what we do." Emma points out.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Asks Cynthia.

"What are you thinking?" She responds.

"A riff-off!" Exclaims Amy.

"That's... not what I was thinking." Says Emma slightly confused and taken a back.

Gail and John agree and ask for the riff-off. Evermoist asks for an explanation which the girls are more than glad to explain and demonstrate. After their initial explanation they begin the riff-off, The Bellas slowly realizing that the groups really hadn't grasped the idea of it. Using their instruments it was making it hard for The Bellas to make their voices heard. Beca could notice Chicago checking out Chloe as she sang "Love Me Harder" by Ariana Grande. She had never felt this kind of jealousy, this fear of losing Chloe. Beca broke the noise the other groups were making with a snippet of "Human" by Christina Perri. Everyone's eyes where on her, even Theo, DJ Khaled's music executive. Chloe smiled, it was as if with her voice Beca stopped her heart then started it up making it race. The moment didn't last long and the other groups began singing once more using their instruments. The Bellas unanimously agreeing that the groups disqualified themselves by using instrument. Clearly beaten they take their leave.
