I seriously regret taking that short cut.
Well I should blame my-self because it is totally safe to walk through a forest when the whole sky is full tars that are just sitting there mocking me. Well they aren’t exactly sitting more like floating but still mocking me!
Well if I didn’t take that short cute I would have not been tied to a chair and have my mouth covered with duct tape. Well I have been sitting in the same rooms for hours; it’s not even a cute room. The room looked like an empty college dorm room with the walls being painted probably the dullest shade of grey. Talking about that if I die I’ll never know what will happens to Anastasia and Christian after the first book they didn’t exactly end up the best!
Why?
Why the hell am I worrying about that when I practically just got kidnapped and probably going to get killed or rape or both! Still c’mon haven’t had my Junior prom yet either, you know I was completely looking forward to that! Still what time is it? I got taken from the forest around nine o’clock or so it feels like it has been four hours, so that means it one ‘clock in the damn morning!
Oh yeah my mother is completely freaking out and probably going to make me home-schooled. You know if I went straight home instead of going to Kim’s house I would have maybe just been nicely tucked into bed and sleeping! I guess we can’t always control what we see now can we?
~Flash-Back~
I just said goodbye to Kim and her mom so I started to make my way down the sidewalk walking the same path I always walk. The sun was going down so I had to walk faster than usual, wonder if it made me looks like I was running away from someone like in the horror movies. NO! Stop thinking that!
There was barely a peek in the sky; I take my phone out of my tote to check the time almost nine o’clock. I kept walking then stop once I reach the nice little forest connected to my house. I could keep walking around or what I do when I am going to be late and just walk the forest then turn, walk the side walk and I am home!
Big mistake.
I went into the forest I followed the track I took so often, the sun as getting lower so quickened my pace. Everything was fine until I heard a scream and I stopped. It was not a female scream it was definitely a male. Then is when I started to run like my life depended on it! The dirt I stepped one was flying everywhere that every single spot of mud here and there were stuck to my legs. My sandals are going to need a serious cleaning after this night.
I was pretty sure I have been running for ten minutes so I should be around the right spot maybe a little more forward but that’s okay I will be closer to my home. I turn right and start running again. The win started to pick up my blonde hair decided to get stuck to my lip-gloss and invade my face! I kept running but this tome faster I felt like there was someone or something out there looking at me or even sensing me.
I guess I was having a cliché day because I trip over a damn rock! I am that stupid girl to wear a white tank top and short shorts with sandals and then walk home alone in the dark. Doesn’t that scream ‘Hey come kidnap me then rape I’m entertaining!’ yes indeed it does. I started to get up when I look over and see a mad that is probably sixty stabbing someone around his age the chest. Of course smart me I just stood there with my mouth open staring, and gosh I regret doing that!
Not sure of this was the scariest part of it or the killing man looking over but the other man disappeared; his hair turned black then ‘POOF’. Once the man looked over I got to see his face he was pretty old but not the weak old like the wise old, you get me? He didn’t exactly look very happy that I just witnessed his murdering so I just smiled. Yes Ari smiled at the creepy old man.
“You!”
“Me! Yep I am going to make an exit and it was really nice meeting you!” I screamed as I ran into the dark forest I could barely see anything now. He was chasing behind me I could hear his footsteps clearly. I keep running then ‘BAM” I ran into a tree. After that hit I could not see anything except a figure carrying me somewhere and then I blacked out.
